  1. Excellent transaction with Dan, paid immediately which is always nice and actually responded to my PM's each time within minutes of being contacted. A big (thumbs u for this buyer!
  2. Outstanding kudos to Andy thirdgreenham for some great slabbed copies of Our Fighting Forces with good ol' Pooch on the cover...and Andy went the uneeded extra mile and provided a bonus CGC copy of OFF as well
  3. No need to be confused Memory refresh link: http://www.justafanboy.com/ComicKeys/cbg.htm
  4. So everyone is guilty in your eyes automatically. Guilty of what Not quite sure how you arrived at that from my statement. It was more a comment on how we as collectors are willing to discard information on a seller to obtain "that" book in "that" grade.
  5. Far too many big names on that list that had to have known what was up. I guess the lure of the "perfect book" is just too much for many to pass up, even when they know they are dealing with the "devil" himself.
  6. I don't need the details of the PM's...there is more than enough info available to land Yannis on the probation list.
  7. That room, so far, is the best of this thread. Fantastic job.

  9. I would like see a CGC only selling forum. No era breakdown neccessary.
  10. Correct me if I'm wrong, I believe the seller stated check or money order. No Paypal. If the buyer wished to alter the terms of payment he probably should have confirmed the details before committing to the purchase
  11. Some overdue kudos to mr.schomburg, scottish & great escape for the fast payments!
  12. Major kudos to Nik for allowing the sweet Northland Thor #160 slide my way
  13. Great thread! Namisgr has an incredible collection! The story behind each acquisition was enjoyable.
  14. A great many thanks go out to Arex for parting with a few Pedigree Thors in trade for a Ped JIM
  15. That's interesting, I didn't realize there were two copies of the #142. Jason congrats on picking all these up!
  16. Many thanks to the Blazing one for putting aside two Thor pedigree copies for a month, a White Mountain and Oakland copy...Many thanks Bob!
  17. File under I can't believe I did it: In 1974, having a fascination with Giant Size Marvels, I was always disappointed that my favorite storyline had not been saved for an Annual or Giant Size...so I spent roughly ten minutes converting my Hulk 180 and 181 by removing the covers, stacking the interiors and then re-wrapping the covers with the 180 cover on top. After carefully realigning the staple holes I popped two new staples in. My own Giant Size Hulk! And every kid in the neighborhood wanted to trade for it...Needless to say I have since left the Frankenstein work for the Hammers of the world.
