  1. Happy to be a part of this club! Here's a group picture of my boys: My Stan Lee signature CGC 5.5: This was a coverless copy that I made a custom cover for: Now my unslabbed raw copies Copy A: Copy B: Copy C: Copy D: Copy E: My brand new (but beat up) Pence copy: Finally, the extremely rare Los Fantasticos #35:
  2. As rare as a 35 cent variant... A grail I've been searching for for many years... A pence copy of Strange Tales #110!
  3. On the same subject as the book above... Just got a grail I've been looking for for years. It's beat up, but this is not easy to find. A PENCE COPY OF STRANGE TALES #110!
  4. If Comicopolis wants that foreign Defenders #4, definitely sell it to him! I encourage anyone who really wants a book to have it!
  5. Beautiful books everyone! Got these rarities today: This is #43: This is #76:
  6. If anyone has any of those Defenders books for sale, PM me!
  7. Got a bunch of new ones from all over the world in the last few weeks! First up, from Spain, a set of graphic novels not published in America: Another one from Spain reprints the Last Rites storyline in the Doctor Strange Sorcerer Supreme comic series. This has never been reprinted in America. The comics are available separately, but I tracked down the much rarer omnibus of the 8 individual issues: This Marvel Team Up reprint from Spain has a painted cover. I love painted covers! The final one from Spain is a super rare (but very professionally put together) fanzine devoted to Dr. Strange: Not a comic, but here's a DVD copy of the Lion's Gate Dr. Strange Animated Movie from Mexico: Here's two modern reprints from Germany: Finally we go to France, with some great issues of Strange! The first reprints a ROM Spaceknight storyline and has another amazing painted cover: Also with the same cover is a Strange Album, which collects 3 entire issues (including #172 pictured above) And finally, issue #210, which reprints Defenders #101: Sorry for the long post. Hope everyone likes this stuff because these things are really tough to get here in Los Angeles!
  8. THANK YOU! Will post pix when this book and a few more arrive in Los Angeles!
  9. Gentlemen, I was wondering if anyone can help me... I love this issue of Special Strange for a number of reasons. I'm a sucker for original art on foreign editions, and love painted covers. Also, having Dr. Strange with ROM and The Living Tribunal... epic! I found one being offered on eBay, but is pretty expensive for an incomplete book (it's missing some pages in the front): AUCTION LINK Does anyone have a complete copy for sale or know where I can find one? Thanks!
  10. These arrived from Portugal this week. Once again, a huge thanks to creedpatton for finding these for me. Amazing stuff!
  11. Finally acquired the green precious metal gem card. Only 10 in the world. The card on the left is a common, there were 100 of the red made, and 50 of the blue.
  12. Not all that interested in the market value. For me, the first editions of the collected books seemed like the way to go since they looked nicer on the shelf with the bookends and were harder to track down than the comics.
  13. Here's my collection of first printings of the original hardcover collected editions and other related graphic novels. Much rarer than the comics: My display with the super super rare Sandman bookends and miniature sculptures: LOVE this series.
  14. PM me a list of Defenders issues you have! Does the Italian Defenders series have a cover gallery online?
  15. It's either my collection or Peter's over at Sanctum Sanctorum Comix that's the largest Dr. Strange collection in the world. He has a few things I don't, and I have a few things he's missing. I do have more foreign editions, original art, and trading cards than him, but together we pretty much have everything.
  16. Awesome! Found one on Amazon! Thank you for the heads up!
  17. Arrived today. This one is from Barcelona. It only has Dr. Strange on the cover, but not inside. It reprints a bunch of early Fantastic Four comics but not #27 (which this is the American cover for!) Still, one of the only times Jack Kirby ever drew Dr. Strange! Back cover:
  18. Got this comic from Mijael and attached my own custom cover to it. I figured since I did this for all the other Ditko issues of Strange Tales, I might as well do it for the Spanish edition of Dr. Strange's first appearance:
  19. Great deal on a great book! Thanks Mijael!
  20. Yes it does. Great man ,i am selling it already at ebay, but if if no one buys it i am gonna try to find someone here on Mexico to help me restore it I'm interested. PM me because I couldn't find the eBay auction.
  21. A big thank you to creedpatton for tracking down these amazing books from Brazil:
  22. Marvel Feature #1 foreign editions from the UK and France:
  23. Some modern foreign books with Dr. Strange covers arrived from Spain today:
