Interesting read. I've been collecting comics for over 30 years and still don't know how to grade properly.

Wife and I saw it yesterday. Thought it was fantastic. Did feel like a comic book coming to life. The music and the style of the animation was great.

Going through this thread has been mind blowing. I've been collecting comics for over 30 years, but I am not a collector (based on what I've seen here). Hope to move towards collecting more specific items (rather than just getting weekly pulls).
Years ago I had to sell my GI Joe collection, so it has been my mission to recoup it. Albeit in various grades (more low than high as I bought lots).
I did get this, this year. It was bought raw from ebay and was happy with the grade it got from CGC (first time submission). Not sure if re-submission with press would increase the grade or not? (new to this).
2019 goals is to get closer to completing my GI Joe Collection and getting the last 2 remaining books for Web of Spider-Man. Then I can look to upgrade existing and move on to the mission of completion.

I'll take the following, if still available:
Amazing Spider-Man #245
Batman Spawn War Devil

How long does it take from the time they show as delivered by USPS to getting the in the system as received?
This is my first submission and I’m a little nervous.
Thanks.
I sent mine on 11/2 and check the status and on 11/7 it updated to say it was "Verified". I was able to confirm the list of comics they received with what I sent. For me, less than a week.
Now it's the waiting game to see how the grading results.

I am a first time submitter (submitted 9 books last week). Saw my status change today to be VERIFIED and saw the list of books I submitted.

Me too since this is my first time. Process will help determine if I want to submit more or not.

Wife and I watched all of the episodes over the last week. Agree with others, this is simply the best Marvel Netflix season. Hoping they (Netflix) is able to bring a season 4.

Long time ago I had the complete set of GI Joe comics. Then stupidity came into play and I had to sell that portion of my collection (don't ask why, it was dumb move that really didn't help).
So now I am in the slow progress of recouping that portion of my collection. I have recently obtain a high quality (imo) raw #155 that I've waited and waited on to fine a decent price on. Happy to have this back in my collection.

Very under-ordered....especially for a Deadpool book. This one snuck up on folks right up until a couple of hours ago. Online shops even had a good chunk of inventory available for cover...MCS shows that they are still available for $10 right now.
Thanks again, to this site, I was able to get an extra one from my LCS. Only one left. Interesting to see the variance of prices on ebay. Anywhere from $8 to 20$.

Wow. Is all I can say.

Due to seeing this, I took a look and noticed I had an extra copy. Posted it and sold it for $115. So thank you.

The best part about this news is the film is still moving forward
Agreed. Excited for both.

Current count is roughly at 2800 individual comics. Lots from the 90s that most people probably have or had at some point. 60 or so TPBs.
Of those 2800, 300 or so are marked to be sold, eventually. Might continue to scale down my collection to "must haves" based on my own personal taste.
Don't have any books slab, yet. That will be changing this year as I have identified some that I would like to get slabbed.

For me, I am very excited about this news as I very much liked the comic book series.
'Walking Dead' Creator Sets First Amazon Series: Animated Comic Book Drama 'Invincible'
QuoteThe comic book drama, also set up as a feature film at Universal, has been picked up straight-to-series as an animated drama under his new pact with the retailer/streamer.

For those who like to go down memory, there is a site I go to from time to time called RetroJunk. Take a look. They typically have the opening scenes for most shows.

I was born March 1971 and collected the GI Joe smaller figures that started in 1982. Buying the first issue of that comic was a huge part of what got me started with Marvel after having mostly read Richie Rich before that.
I had a very similar starting point. Read lots of Archie and Richie Rich. Then got a GI Joe comic, and was hooked.

Aquaman Movie - July 27, 2018

Saw it over the weekend. Wife liked it more than I did.
Action scenes were at times hard to follow. Forced humor didn't work in most cases (writing? or actor delivery? or both?). Plot holes galore.
Special effects were top notch. Step above Justice League is about the best thing I can say about it.
