Modern Slow Track - 25 Books

    In CGC's hands: Mon 9/28

    Received: Fri 10/2

    CC Charged: Mon 10/5

    Scheduled for grading: Tue 10/13

    Grading/QC: Fri 10/30

    Shipped/Finalized: Mon 11/2

Either CGC is getting tighter on some books or I slipped on this one doh!  17 @ 9.8, 7 @ 9.6, 1 @ 9.2 ... of those, I'd say 4 were a little shocking. Some of the 9.6s I was on the fence about but still worth grading.

  2. :hi:

I've been buying and selling on the forums since 2013 and other online marketplaces since 1999. Feel free to check out the kudos link in my signature if you'd like some references.

Shipping to the USA via Priority Mail: $10 flat for 1-3 items. Add $3 per item after that. Items will be shipped double-boxed with bubble wrap for safe transit. Sorry, no international shipping at this time.

Payment via PayPal Goods and Services only, due within 24 hours of closing the thread. I can send it earlier at any time if you'd like to close out your tab. An invoice to pay from will be sent via email.

No returns unless I happen to have missed something, and we can work it out. I don't foresee that happening but I try to be easy to work with and practice the Golden Rule in general.
No people on any Hall of Shame or Probation Lists. I reserve the right to not sell to anyone I don’t feel comfortable selling to - whether they be on a list, they have a poor reputation of not paying, history of scamming others online etc. This has never had to happen so far, but just a friendly note to cover myself.

I've had them move around in slabs before, nothing like this.  The slightest movement moves them up and down at a quick pace.  They graded the X-Men 1 a week before and it doesn't do that, this batch must have missed the QA stage....CGC will send me a prepaid envelope to send everything back.  I don't feel comfortable selling these books like this.

Does it have anything to do with them adding more space between the plastic elements in order to combat Newton Rings? (shrug)

I've noticed something like this on books recently too, but it's the entire inner elements and holder parts moving inside the outer holder parts - not just the book.

Very cool! Normally I say “can’t remember the last time I’ve come across something I’ve never seen before.”  Now, I’ll point to these books!

    GLWTS!!!

Thanks! The mini books are definitely on the more unique side of collecting. If you haven't checked out the link above with the info, it's a fun read!
