I've played over 100 hours, haven't beaten it yet and still love playing. I equate it to playing Dark Souls in Skyrim with awesome graphics. And yes there are different classes you can choose with different starting stats/equipment. The greatness of DS is carried over here in that you can beat the game many ways and challenge yourself in many ways like a SL1 run which I am far from doing at this point, but did in the past games and it was like rediscovering them.

Yeah this really isn't a pause to think kinda game! Godrick was a fun fight, love the dragon's head weapon, just wish it was an option for his "soul". I am 70+ hours in and am still exploring. I've leveled up some awesome weapons, including a very cool sword that's a tribute to the GoT throne.

Yeah this ones terrible...the shadowing in the last panel is awful!

Not repetitive...different feel/look and enemies in each area.

You can walk around if you want but its more fun to use the horse and the areas are bigger then Skyrim's.

I wasn't sure if I was going to like the horse element, but its a real cool feature and helps in the exploration.

Nearly 30 hours into Elden Ring and I have only defeated one main boss and not because he was to tough (took me about 10 tries), but because there is so much you can do before progressing the main story line. This game is truly amazing and I am already calling it my all time favorite.

I've played about 15 hours of it so far and compare it more to Far Cry and Skyrim then Dark Souls. It has elements of many games including Bloodborne. Graphics are awesome and it plays great!
