  1. While my experience may or may not help,I had a x-men 1 in one the first gen new holders no inner.I swear it looked wavy.once it was out of the slab,it was completely flat.it was in the case for almost a year.
  2. Won't need to put godfather in anything, its on AMC right now.
  3. Not sure this will work on comics but I saw no exclusions.use the app to buy. PSHOPAPP ends 6pm pt
  4. Can't wait till I can trade my extra 181 for an AF 15... Well I can dream about it anyway.
  5. I have quite a few collections going.as a teenager in the 80s and a total toys r us kid I've collected a lot toys. in the 70s star wars was the it toy.I had every figure and multiples of some and of course plenty of the vehicles and playsets.then gijoe came out.I have a nearly complete Joe collection(82-94) every figure and almost every vehicle(yes a Flagg, defiant and terrordrome). Then the 25th ann.came out and i went all in.i have tons of them.I used to have pretty big collections of transformers, heman, super powers, marvel and many others also, but as time goes on a lot of it was lost, left or sold for other hobby money.another big collection is hot wheels and other diecast companies.im a big muscle car collector and have a weakness for all the limited chase cars that are made. Video games-been into them since pong,so I have a lot of game systems and games all way to the ps4(not a Xbox fan tho) and then there's music.I was into nearly all metal in the 80s and 90s.i have tons of tapes, records and CDs.got heavily into getting demos from a lot of underground bands mostly death metal.there's more if you can believe it and comics was going on during all that.yes Im an only child forgive me.
  6. Another episode Aires tonight on AMC 10pm eastern time.its the wonder woman history.
  7. No inserts.stamps colors look dark blue,navy blue...hmm ?
  8. Here's two more early star stamps on FF 73&76 I'm pretty sure I have one or two more FFs with stamps before inserts were used. I feel these are also military designations.the stamps match what my other mark jewlerys stamps look like.their stamp locations generally tend to be by the price boxes.
  9. You could be right.he's not the most tech savvy.that's why I posted looking for a broader result.
  10. I don't remember anything for the 10th but I'm pretty sure I got a 15% off for the 15th year.I remember the email had a congratulations and a big 15. Also a little follow up on my friends code it was actually a discount code that he managed to take $50 off whatever he bought.
  11. Anyone nearing or passed your 20 years on eBay? A friend of mine hit his 20th year on eBay a little while ago and said eBay sent him a code for $50 credit on eBay.I have two e accounts with my main account hitting 20 in Feb.I have an account I rarely use but keep active with a bid or two every now then that turned 20 in October but didn't get any emails from eBay.
  12. 3,6,9? 2,5,8? Good-lowest for low 3.0 Fine-mid 4.0-6.0 High-8.0 up Others may vary.
  13. Right now I'm needing Spidey 121&122 theyre just too much.I think in current perspective they're not even relevant. Gwen's not dead.goblins not dead.why do they, 121 mostly keep rising? I've seen it mentioned before, today's generation of collectors and the next won't see these books as special as they seem to us.I could of bought a set a few years ago for $25 in low grade, now same would be well over $100.my hand will probably grow onto my waiting but so be it.I'll wait.
  14. No he's just a really cool cat.he knows what's he putting in there.
  15. Yeah I didn't want to get too long winded.but yes its a pita too dig thru a box to make sure i have an issue or not.so as a result I have a inventory of what's in the box.generally most of the bottom boxes are just runs like fantastic four 200-300 etc. Stuff that's just collection books I never look at. How useful! ?
  16. I store all my comics laying down.I alternate every one with spine left then spine right.why do i do this? After years of boxes stored on top of one another.I found that the boxes on under stacks had all the comics curling.it didn't matter if the boxes were filled tightly.I have space constraints with over 60 short boxes.I'm hoping to find a shelving system eventually. With mylites I use whatever are the regular boards you buy from bcw. And I stack them on top of each other.mylites tend get puffy when standing up verticle.really I'm surprised more people don't store their books like this for longer term storage.those bottom books get nice and flat ?
  17. I saw it also.just went looking and couldn't find it.thought it was in modern.didn't see it in coppers Canadian price thread either.
  18. So I'm interested in hearing what you others have as bargains bins from around the country(or even not US). Im continuously just seeing people say $1 bins. Are your stores not having less then dollar bins? In and around my area I know of stores that have 10 for a dollar,5 for a dollar 3&2 for a dollar.I've pulled some pretty amazing stuff from some of these bins.my last pull at my 5 for $1 store was harbinger 1,x-o 1,magnus 0,1 solar 3 even pulled a caliber presents 1 a few months ago.all nm copies.sure I got lucky and persistence pays off.just seems I see no mention off anything else but $1 bins. Also I haven't been to a con since the 90 atlanta dragon con.what are typical con bargain bins these days?
  19. So having been a marvel zombie for nearly 40 years now,its seems they were subject to ad removal pretty rampantly.anyone know particularly why this is? Its seems its very focused to just 60s marvels.is it prevalent in other years? For 70s other then MVS I very rarely find an issue missing a page. A final question since I'm not a DC collector, are 60s DC chopped up as much?
  20. Nothing too mind bending but all good prices.decent amount of original sin with some 1:25 variants not pictured.
