Sometimes if you don’t pay now it might be 20 years before you get another shot at it.

A completely ridiculous and unfair practice IMO.
Well when you think about it, I seen some early Timley’s with this kind of very minor ink dots and glue. If they put it in a PLOD, collectors would probably damage books further by taking chunks out of them just so they can obtain a blue label. I think it has its place if it’s used consistently. My memory is foggy but wasn’t there some controversy with the Larsen MMC#9? Was in a PLOD then they revisited it, put it in a blue label. This was probably 20+ years ago?

Great set up.

The Phantom of the Space Opera? DC should have fired most of their writers but they cranked out stuff like this for decades.

Sell it, buy an upgrade with better PQ. Off white on an SA book is not a big selling point, stick to ow/wp’s or white.

Great stuff and while they were not scary they sure were cool, especially Frankenstein. Although I must admit I have never heard or seen the Black Sabbath before.

I’m guessing that they key to avoiding detection of an aqueous bath is to make sure its odourless?

Hard to choose which Kirby run was more creative, J.I.M or this FF run but I guess you’d have to give the edge to FF run. He was on fire.

I understand where you're coming from as a collector, but Walt is a different kind of guy. I just don't think he would sell before death unless, God for bid, health issues arrive.
Totally understand but someone needs to get creative, offer him $X for his works and then maybe a matching or lump sum donation that he can make in his name to a school/charity of choice. Win, win.

For me I will probably keep it to the select covers/issues to I enjoy, maybe complete a Simonson Thor run or Byrne FF’s. There are just too many books.

Someone needs to make a massive private offer for his Thor work. At least let him think about it and maybe eventually he would consider it.
Will Alex Ross ever achieve Kirby status?

Does someone have a graft/display that details Kirby's workload in the 60's, juggling various titles like J.I M., FF. Avengers, etc. The mere fact that he would literally create new, interesting lasting and memorable characters/villains almost every month puts him head and shoulders above all others IMO.
