  1. In the past, when I signed on to the main page and then open up the chat boards from there, both boards would be signed in. Now it seems that the chat boards are signed in independently of the main board. Boo

    Heroes, Inc.

Heritage around 10 or more years ago auctioned off a whole pallet of sealed boxes. I remember going to my first SDCC in 2001 and being so excited that Mike Carbonaro had a whole stack of them available for $1 each. I may have picked out 5 nice copies but I then realized that they were common. No biggie due to the cheap price. that the cost was immaterial.
  3. I didn't see the design but Richie Evans stated that Matt Nelson was showing the prototype to some dealers at Heroes Con. He can perhaps describe it better.
  4. Looks like CGC did a boo hoo and my stuff did get encapsulated and shipped out last Thursday. Now to inform them so the grades will officially update.
  5. To answer your question, this is how I check my books when I receive them. 1) Check for case integrity - Cracks, etc 2) Check for if the books are undamaged 3) Check for labelling errors Of the above three, it's pretty rare for me to have any issues with it. As I tend to sell all my stuff with ComicLink, and that I don't want to deal with a few ME issues that I would have to send back and deal with myself, I just bite the bullet and have ComicLink do the work for me and I'll accept the charge of around $20 per book so they can send it to CGC to get it fixed. With respect to other issues like streaks, minor scratches, minor newton rings, etc, they really don't bother me so I'm not going to care about these even if I was to keep them for myself. They just aren't that important to me. I understand that some are more picky and care more about certain items but it just doesn't matter that much to me. I also understand that the issues posted here would generally be of the more egregious type so there is a form of confirmation bias if that's all you see here. People are generally not going to complain about some minor issues that most people won't care about at the end. I don't dispute that certain items bother some people but I have way more issues to worry about most of the time.
  6. This book showed to be in Grading/QC last Thursday the first thing in the morning and I clicked on it and it showed that all the books were universal but it switched back to GEI later in the day and hasn't moved since. Must be punishment for me getting other stuff done so quickly. xoxo greggy
