The list is growing and growing , what if we do something to prevent and protect us , like writing some lines on our listings , making a mention of this list ? Something like : "if you f... with me you will be blocked from more than 60 % of the buyers" of course we tell them in a gentle way

What is eBay or Paypal doing to protect you on your end? buyer opened the case via paypal so funds are being held, all they asked for was tracking info. i provided it, shows delivered. i use the ebay shipping tool so the address comes from them, which is also confirmed. i should win this, however i looked at his recent feedback and they are all comic related purchases so i would suspect he's done the same to the others by now. will follow up with them to be sure. this is definitely one that everyone should block. potential scam. I agree with you I added him to my list , because in my opinion it was very unpolite way to make things .. But if you think i am wrong dont add it to the list I think you keep ignoring the questions we have and fail to give more details about the timing of events. I recall you had a problem before with how long it took to pay or ship or something like that on here before. Until I see some details about how things went down, I doubt I will add someone based on what you think may have happened. I have had PayPal cancel a transaction I sent to someone before for plenty of reasons. Bear in mind-- you had offers from this person on eBay which you declined then suddenly they see a transaction being done outside of eBay between the same people. Huge red flag that eBay and Pay Pal catch and handle how they want to (cancel the money transfer) all the time. It is a violation of their selling rules. Yes i had an issue with a seller at ebay, because i paid him and he didn´t sent me my books after 3 weeks . I was critiziced here , trolled etc . The name of the seller is BLB comics ... he is in the hall of shame here .... Of course not because of me but because he scammed a lot of people.. I think you are right about the ebay - paypal .. they probably knew about the the transaction so paypal could had cancelled it. As i said it was my responsability for inviting him here to make the deal , but the way he handled the situation after the reversed payment , i think i deserved some kind of explanation or one "hey man something happened with the payment" ...

Anyway it was my reponsability for pushing the sale and inviting him here to close the deal . There´s a saying in spanish that goes "a la fuerza ni los zapatos entran"

To summarize. This buyer was close enough for you to seek out completing the deal here. You invite him here & try to complete a deal. Paypal or credit card gives you bad vibes with rejection/reversal & I don't see any indication that you tried to sort out the payment problem with buyer or payment facilitator. You wait 20 minutes. You start a thread detailing your experience as seller dealing with a potential anonymous scammer, you did the thread even though you have all his contact info. Now I guess you are fed up and naming him here now - how did he "give you no choice" ? Was it the fact that this guy you invited here had a payment that got fouled up or is it the fact that he started a thread here asking for opinions the same way you did even though both of you could be doing this privately? What's the "warning" based on? If it's the payment aspect, please detail what have you done to research/resolve it other than start a thread here asking for opinions? OR Are you upset that someone you invited here is publicly asking for opinions on what he should be paying for a book similar to yours? I'm not clear on whether this is a sarcastic reference or butthurt. I wasn´t planning to do this but the buyer gave me no choice... Ebay user name : kennethsarmstrong10 Board user name : VanillaSimba Few days ago i received 3 offers at ebay for one of my books , the 3 offers where automatically declined , but the buyer was close to the minimum , so i decided to contact him , invite him here to the boards and give him a 10% discount and close the deal . This is on a thread... I received 3 mails yesterday : - One from paypal """"" sent you $$$$ - One from here (a PM) "Hey buddy! I'm so excited!!! I just sent the $ " . So i reply received! i will ship your book tomorrow! - and one mail from paypal 15 minutes later : "A review of recent transactions indicates that you received a payment that was not authorized by the PayPal account holder. For your protection, we have reversed this transaction." After this i created a thread asking if i should cancel the deal because i was really freaked out ... Someone posted that maybe it was his bank or credit card , so i decided to wait for an explanation . After 20 minutes i write him a mail asking him what happened , telling him i am not comfortable with this... I received no answer... the guy has my e mail , ebay and pm here to reach me but instead of contacting me he creates a thread here asking for our advice about buying a comic book with a similar price of mine thread

The book he hit me on was $300, And had a lot of potential buyers watching... I cancelled the order and reported him i hope you did the same... I normally sell silver age, some bronze age a lot of foreign books and i usually dont have problems . Now that i am selling some modern foreigns Edge of Spiderverse copies i already had 3 issues in one week , they are like a problem magnet

Stunning. Keep an eye on Adventure 260. A CGC 4.0 sold for $286 last month so it's following a similar trajectory as Showcase 30. I would love to see a "trajectory" on this book. I have been looking for a halfway presentable copy at any price for the past three months and not one has made it to market. This book may be too "rare" for speculative fever to ever reach it - you can't have a headlining sale if no book is ever sold. Just took a look at Ebay and yeah the pickings are very slim. Nothing on there that isn't falling apart! Wich one is more important ,Adventure 260 or Showcase 30?

Nice. I was bidding on this but it went for a pretty strong price. Can't go wrong with that cover. Wow! you can now search for a coverless book
