  1. Just got my copy today from highgradecomics already had the Mexican red one
  2. The chances of that are virtually zero. Absent direct evidence (and no the tracking doesnt count) there is almost no way I see the Police searching a shipping center for a missing package. If FedEx is in custody of my property, and there is no evidence to prove it wasn't stolen or still in their possession, how could they be off the hook after doing nothing more than conducting their own in-house investigation? Is there no burden of proof required on their end, and a simple "we couldn't find it" then frees them of any accountability? pretty much. That's what insurance is for , unfortunately. I listed alternative options that the parcel could have experienced (and there are many others). I believe on their form there is a waiver from use though I'm sitting in Atlanta airport in a 3 hr weather delay so I can't check their terms Gator, im in Atlanta too, Gate A01 gate a31 for at least another hour So are you having guys a pleasent comic talk between Gate 01 and 31?
  3. I'm having troubles understanding this post I have a Tec 1 and 27 plus a Bat 1 you follow that. I did not want to send the books thru the mail for the reason Wayne-Tec posted lost lost and lost. I drove to pgx 500 miles away to get them graded rather than take a chance of lost in the mail. Is that better MetalPSI When you have that kind of books i guess you have an aproppiate insurance i mean something similar to art dealers and collectors
  4. Insurance ... i think someone here had insured an Avengers 1 USPS delivered in another adress and they didn´t paid the insurance Best insurance is low profile, people who work at usps ups etc knows about comic books and comics are easy to steal , so stop telling them you are sending expensive comics and stop paying those big insurances because your "comic will be lost" and they will not pay you anything. When i send an expensive comic book i send an "old magazine" and the cost is always less than $35 usd
  5. Nice book ! German collectors have the bag and board culture so you can find highgrades: Z 0 - or Z 1 as German grade them Value depends too on the year they where printed . Some silver age books where printed the same year or the next year of the US print for example La Prensa publishing and of course the pence editions..
  6. The Mexican silver Age La Prensa´s have been gaining a lot of value . An Argentinian collector just sold his entire collection at Ebay and some copies where sold more than the US versions grade to grade ... one example was Fantastic Four 48 , some Cap America and Tales to astonish books. If you have enough money you can get easily get any US silver age book you want ... but if you want a foreign book that´s another story , you have to wait until a copy is available .. if you are lucky of course Here are some big graded key´s la Prensa´s on the market i have on my watch list First Ant Man FF 1 This is true. I'm the guy who bought the Caps And since you are not letting go those caps for anything in this world , the next guy who wants those rare copies will have to wait and if he is lucky to find them he will have to pay a lot of money for them unless the seller doesn´t know he has gold on his hands . That´s how the foreign market works , i guess there´s a similarity with the Golden Age market

  10. Nice book ! Finding golden and silver age books is hard here on Mexico. People at that time didnt had the collector mentallity so they trow them away... Its easier to find them online with sellers from other countries like Spain , Argentina , US etc
