Thank you for trying- big ticket items are more hit or miss here from what I’ve seen. There are some really great offers at even the $2k level that take some time to get done… but it’s always worth a shot to try here first as there’s no obligation or cost to it…

Can you kindly enable us to have the option for FedEx to hold our package for pickup? I live in NYC and often (in fact, usually) the FedEx guys do not bother collecting signatures even when required. Packages are also routinely mis-delivered to wrong addresses. And USPS is even worse. Package theft is rampant in NYC - these packages contain items with high dollar and sentimental value. the safest option is getting FedEx to hold the package at their store so I can go get it. I really don’t understand why you don’t allow this. It would take a lot of stress away from many of us. It should be an easy matter to allow us to select such an option with submission.

Interesting - I'm at least grateful that we were refunded. I thought he was just having seller's remorse... I reported him to ebay and they are looking into it (it only took a few minutes. I'm guessing if enough folks complain he will be suspended. with regards to the feedback - he left positive feedback with the nasty comment, which is also weird. did you get negative feedback? if so, i'm sure ebay can scrub it for you what i really don't like is that some random crazy person has my contact details - that is what I like about the boards: i mean, we're still crazy people but we're well-screened! be well 'F'

block this guy, though I suspect he is getting kicked off ebay: phokingcollectibles bought books and asked a couple of times for the tracking info. then get a notice that he cancelled the sale upon my request - which i never did. He did this to a bunch of other people as well - several of whom chose to leave negative feedback - to which he posted abusive comments frustrating, but I can say that at least he refunded the money - it could have been worse...

The classic Red Skull was so much more terrifying than the 60s version (IMO)...

MTD's advice is good - remember, dealers stalk those listings too and this doesn't preclude you from approaching dealers directly.
