    I ship 1-6 books and cgc books priority- either envelopes or boxed. Most of these single books are priced over $20 ea. I ship lots (7 books and up) boxed media mail. Also, hardcovers, trades, omnibus’ all get shipped media. Been doing that for years now with not a single problem. They are packaged extremely well with plenty of insulation. Usps workers don’t have time to open these packages. I would think they might open a media box if it’s poorly packaged as many are.

    I haven't had quite this much trouble with eBay. For online sales reaching the maximum amount of potential buyers where are you going to go? Maybe here on forums and I hear Facebook has some decent auctions. I've had a couple occurrences with shady buyers but the vast majority have been ok. When a buyer asks for a transaction outside of eBay I just tell I can't do it.

    I finally opened a basic ebay store this year. Have over 200 items up. The way convention promoters keep jacking up table rates (plus all the work involved setting up at shows), I believe ebay fees are a better deal.

    I'll be set up at booth 455. Bringing a CGC lot I recently picked up (about 150 books). Some nice rare hardcovers and trades (many still sealed). Some solid dollar books I'm too lazy to price .     I'm selling at Long Beach this weekend. Typically you get some dealers walking around trying to pick up keys for their booths or collection or whatever. But, they usually want major discounts which wouldn't be wise to give. I'm there to make a little profit. Sure, if they pay my price they can have them (which is rare). In the end, all of the inventory is ready for sale from the start of the first day.
