  1. Then DC characters would be just as dorky as Marvels. No thanks.
  2. So I think its only Batman (not detective) 282,268,269,264,271,274,272,278 and 277
  3. I’ll take all remaining $10 and $15 Batman and Detective books
  4. Hi everybody, I’ve been trying to figure out whose signature this might be. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.
  5. As a seller who mostly uses eBay I’ll have to disagree with this. Auctions very rarely realize the best prices possible. I’ve left a ton of money on the table using auctions so rarely do them anymore. A hot key issue will do fine on bids but most other books will not. Research sold prices and list accordingly. Only downside to buy it now listing is it can be a slower process as some books will sit for longer periods of time.
  6. I buy the pack they sell at Costco. Like a 5 pack or so. They also sell one with the gun included. Good quality and price.
  7. I remember being in the Army in Germany in 88’/89’. Bought the one with “bass”. Cost quite a bit more than the regular one. Was worth it!
  8. I’m a part time seller- mostly eBay. I have a working capital loan through PayPal. They take a percentage of my sales to pay back the loan. I hope they don’t get rid of PayPal altogether. I’d have a hard time paying it back. PayPal has been pretty good to me. I’ll stick with them.
  9. I’m a DC collector. I know thats a minority here on the boards. It’s partly because of the goofy stuff they did back in the 50’s and 60’s. Marvel just didn’t do that stuff. DC Sci Fi and Horror were superior in those times as well imo. The goofiness even went into war comics. I saw this star spangled here on forums last week and had to get it lol. I think its a freakin awesome cover
  10. I will not buy from a seller on eBay who doesn’t describe and assign a grade to a book. Very hard to tell grades strictly from pictures. I describe grades and list any defects I see on all raw books I sell. Only had a handful of returns or partial refunds requested with over a thousand sales. I use overstreet guidelines and also the experience I’ve gotten from submitting books to cgc. Most buyers are familiar with grading. I’ve made mistakes and have maybe overgraded from time to time. I try to undergrade so buyer is usually happy with conditon.
  11. Dan’s great to deal with. Book arrived quickly and well packaged. Thanks!
  12. I gave all my rock albums to a kid who was just getting into vinyl. Figured let a new generation enjoy them. I did pick up this album at a small comic con I was selling at earlier this year. Gonna have it framed. I thought it was too cool. Has a coa as well.
  13. There are less and less “collectors”. Most I see are tons of flippers. Sucks for the industry. Nobody collects runs. Keys, keys, keys. If you want close to market value you gotta sell retail - eBay, conventions etc.. be prepared to have your inventory sit for a long time unless you’re letting go cheap.
