  1. Major Kudos to Steve (143ksk) for hooking my kids up each with a free package of funny books. Good kharma will come back to you on this one. They were very excited and are still enjoying them daily. They can read the same comic each night and enjoy it just as much as the first time. My son laughed out loud the first time he read(looked at the pictures) of a baby huey story. I had to tell myself not to grab the 10 centers and put them in my collection. I was waiting to kudos until I had a photo or two of the kids reading them, but now I can't find the camera download chord. I'll edit this post with a few photos later. Thanks again, It was above and beyond the call. Collin (comicdey) Also Kudos to Zipper for fast payment on ASM 6, even though I'm slow to ship these days. I'll be working on that. Kudos to Top of the totem for buying a couple of slabs from me, You'll like them, and for purchasing a few other items, one that's going straight to CGC. Kudos to October for the yet to be paid for and delivered JIM 106. Kudos to JeffB for all the great EC's he put in the BIN format. Looking forward to that package. Kudos to GA collectibles (I think I have a package to pick up tomorrow morning) I'll confirm that and the kudos tomorrow. Kudos to all the graders in the forum for tolerating my infernal postings. It's a great way to show this collection and get a feel for it as I go. Sorry on any PM's not replied to at this time, I'm trying to keep up. I've printed out many with requests and such for follow up.
  2. Excellent Find there FT88 That ASM is a beauty. Don't feel like it's bragging....you're just sharing the adventure with everyone. I'm doing the same thing in the grading forum. Wow, I wish the collection I had purchased was generally as nice as the ones you posted. It's hit or miss with the collection I purchased as the owner was a collector/reader, and not a speculator. At least he was a completist with all the early issues. Again, Kudos to you and your find. Very cool.
  3. I'm still waiting on my two, but I expect they'll arrive today or tomorrow.
  4. Kudos to Fine Comics for a smooth transaction on Hulk 1-6. They will be on their way this week.
  5. Kudos back to silver for the auction site, board site and for buying three books from me, (with that sweet ASM 21).
  6. Yes, please. You get the idea on the Lone Ranger..... Here's a couple of other interior pages... There are a few phantom stories A few Rush Newton Stories Some interior stories with black and white drawings A few shorts of the time and then a nice color centerfold The back page Family Portraits And my image of an image of the back cover.... Thanks!!! I could scan the whole thing for you in the future and put them in order. Lots of pages, and time. Collin
  7. There's actualy a few westerns, a few phantoms, a few detective types, a few interior shorts, and the one sci fi story. I paid $17 for my copy, so I don't feel too ripped. See how nice the pages are.....

  9. Yes, please. Ok, It's on my to do list.
  10. I understood. All I was saying is the case is too big for my scanner and I'm not cracking the case, temptation to handle the book aside. It's a fun book.. I could scan the stories for you if you really want to read it. Feel free to send them my way. I guess I could just scan them for the boards. Next time I'm in the dungeon, I'll pull it upstairs for scanning. I figured I'd do it for AGRO 23 if he wanted as his is slabbed.

  12. I don't think my 8 1/2 x 11 scanner will accomodate it. Not to mention the CGC case. And as tempting as it is to crack open to read the book, I don't have the pedigree documentation so resubmission might be dicey. There was another one on CL, but I don't know what happened to it. The fair one is still there. I don't need the lable scanned, just a clear shot of the back so I can slide it in the bag with my copy. Thanks anyway if you can't get a decent image.
  13. Another nemesis who buys all the high grade copies that I can't afford anyway Nice Collection of GGA Rangers.
  14. Nice pick-ups!!! Thanks, they were the only 10 centers though. Everything else was newer 12 cent books like #3-up and those spiderman and daredevil and xmen and strange tales books.
  15. How about a nice correctly sized and high resolution scan of the back cover of that future #2. I have a nice copy without a back cover. I won't ask for it to be double sided I've already got a low res scan of the back. Yellow colored if I recall. Thanks if possible. PM me and I'll send you my email if you're willing.
  16. It was part of a collection that I purchase, so all in all, not too bad of a price.
  17. That's even "almost" GGA on the babe in distress Nice Pick up.
  18. I forgot to kudos Joeypost as well for a few sweet books and bonus. The Showcase 38 was a screaming deal and a great addition to my collection. Thanks
  19. Kudos to Point Five for a sweet old and rare Women in Love NN giant 100 page issue. Packaged and shipped lighting fast. I don't collect romance, but it was worth the price just to read it. I may post it back on the boards for someone else to enjoy down the road. Thanks again
  20. Kudos to svndst1030 for quick payment on a nice batman run and for purchasing a Batman for the Wrightson signing. Kudos to Beyonder for finally receiving his Iron Man books I shipped. Glad to know you were really there. Kudos to GA collectibles for bringing more GA books to the boards.
  21. Not a perfect copy, but I love her eyes...and th at swastika brand looks kinda scary. and my second copy has been in my collection quite a while.
