    Here is Belit assembled. I had to put her together before I painted because of the seams on the shoulders that had to get smoothed out.

    Thank you! Will do. I might borrow my friends real air brush and go over the skin colors. I made Conan too dark and Belit too light.

    Yeah I run across them all the time. Black and Red less than the others. I found a Darker Image Gold a few months back but still haven't found a Deathmate Black Gold. I would probably hang onto one of those

    Primered everything and did my first coats of paints. I have a cheesy propellant can airbrush that honestly I didn't want to use. I prefer the little model spray cans, but unfortunately you can't find that many colors for skin tones. And of course I screwed up the colors so I'll have to buy more paint.

    Had to get a putty/2 part epoxy for some parts. As I read on someone else's blog online. Conan's thumb was missing a chunk. Sword needed a little touch up. The arm needed a fill in to be flush where it meets the seam. Besides the missing pieces the putty is necessary to smooth out the seam line on Belit. I let it dry overnight and is solid the next day.

    For my entry in the journals here is my latest project. Conan 1 statue. I got this kit for my birthday a few months ago and recently have been doing some rearranging of my glass display cases so I figured I might as well start building this guy. A little background. I first saw this statue on an interview with Roy Thomas. I was like oh my I have to have it to display with my book. A little research and I found out it is a resin kit. A little bummed I have to build it but I'm up to the challenge and I'm sure it will be rewarding. My progress so far is I've taken everything out, dry fitted it, and cleaned it. I'm going to stop by in a little bit to pick up some putty for a couple touch up spots and then primer it hopefully after work tonight.
