  1. Something like that, but since the black suit that went into his pores led to a gooey symbiote idea.... kind of a grey area
  2. It would be cool if the intro or credits to movies said something like "Original symbiote suit/Venom concept created by Randy ..."
  3. Unfortunately you can't combine the shipping as far as I know.
  4. Thank you! Lots of good info on this thread
  5. Finally picked one up today! Woo hoo
  6. I'm reading it. I'm a couple issues behind though.
  7. First Morlun is a pretty good read for Silk fans. This trade collects ASM 30 - 35
  8. Looks awesome in the new case. Sorry to hear it didn't bump up.
  9. front looks like it has a long color break above the cap marvel logo. Kind of hard to see. I'm thinking 9.4/9.6
  10. My first signing I went to was Frank Miller in the 90s. Very nice guy. Sigs were free
  11. Personally I'm team Silk. Gwenpool and Spidergwen are too gimicky. I just read First Morlun Straczynski story arc. Great stuff.
  12. Beautiful book. Congrats on the bump! My great comic moment was when I got my copy back from CGC last year. Personally I would leave it as is. It does look like it can possibly go down to a 9.2. With staple tear I would avoid having it pressed again. That's the main reason I didn't press mine as the staples tend to be a little bit on top of the book instead of completely on the side.
  13. A few goodies back from CGC Thanks to @surfer99 and @Ronnylama Thanks dudes! Really happy with the Tales To Astonish 44! Graded a lot better than what I thought it would
  14. Same mine aren't there either. Probably another update. I've noticed this several times before
  15. I prefer selling books that are graded vs raw. Less likely to have buyers try to debate about the grade especially on a key book like 181.
  16. Thank you!!! I will post pics as soon as they come in. My prescreen did alright too. Just had a few that I wish would have passed
  17. Modern Mag rec'd 3/10 hit shipped today 4/19. Very happy with the grades
  18. It can go either way at that point. 9.8 prescreen you have to pay $5 for the rejects and CGC still charges the same shipping rate as if they were slabs so maybe around $8 for rejects really with the shipping factured in. So is it worth the while? I'm thinking it is as I just got my 9.8 prescreen on the way back. Plus when you sell graded books you are far less likely to have the buyers complain about condition.
  19. I have a lot of my books on ikea picture frame shelves for display. You'll swear they were made for CGC books and even have a groove at the bottom so they don't move. For my babies I store them flat I recently discovered the CGC portfolios that slab pro makes and I really like them. (Not my book, lol)
  20. I bought Hulk Mag #24 from MH as NM. It came back a 9.4. I was a little peeved about the packing as they put it in the smaller flat rate envelope from USPS with thin pieces of cardboard that didn't cover the entire mag. I possibly could have got a 9.8 if it wasn't for the ding it got in shipping.
  21. That's pretty sweet! And good timing selling it last year
