  1. If it's not coming up on the software just hand write a big "9.8 Pre Screen" on the paperwork. That's what I did on my last sub.
  2. Elvira mistress of the dark has Amazing Spider-Man 299 in the bowling alley scene.
  3. Nice setup Oak. Don Rosa had a cool archival type storage for his books that I thought was pretty neat https://video.search.yahoo.com/yhs/search;_ylt=AwrTcYE7jsFY3eUA9HounIlQ?p=Don Rosa Collection basement&fr=yhs-mozilla-001&fr2=p%3As%2Cv%3Ai%2Cm%3Apivot&hsimp=yhs-001&hspart=mozilla#id=1&vid=e176f43d536dbc331c7d0e31a0c33f82&action=view
  4. Thanks Man. Yeah I agree. Too much selling going on. There's a few accounts I don't even follow anymore. My feed was constantly being bombarded with over priced books. I just mainly like to show my hauls and talk comics. I've met a few really cool people on IG.
  5. Kind of hit and miss. Sometimes you pay more for the sigs and grading then what the book will sell as. Other times people go nuts. Celebrity sigs is an interesting market
  6. I sold a X-factor 24 to someone on Instagram. He ended up living just a few block away. We met at the neighborhood park
  7. I'm sure he'll be back. I have to admit, I didn't expect he would be dead for this long
  8. Weird though. Comics are more popular in pop culture with TV, Movies, Toys, Clothes. Almost anywhere you go you'll see something comic related except for actual comics
  9. Yep 2 months is about right. .... For fast track
  10. Found Anna statue to go with Elsa. Tuesday Morning has these for only $20
  11. I think the decrease in activity started a couple years ago due to some spec sites. Which to each his own if modern specs/flipping is what they are into.
  12. Shipping today! I'm happy with the grades. Seems to be consistent with how they always grade.
  13. +1 I was just talking to my buddy about this. I've almost exclusively bought from people off of IG this past year or so. It's great! I just hate when people try to charge full retail or higher on there. Great for trading on there sometimes too. I love scrolling through IG and just seeing comics, comics, comics. I started the #IGComicFamily a few years ago and is almost up to 170,000 hits so far. Amazing!
  14. Getting them graded would depend on the condition. I would post pics of them in the please grade my ... section. At least the 361. Yes, bindery tears were somewhat common with this book. Welcome to the boards
  15. Cool. I look forward to seeing it come back. I'm contemplating sending my Immortal Iron Fist 1 Dell Otto to be graded.
  16. Coming from a collector's stand point. When I got to shows I mainly buy books for my personal collection. Most of my graded books I submit myself so it's important I find nice copies. Like others have said, I don't mind paying a little over ebay prices if I'm able to look at a KEY raw book in person. For filler books that's a different story. Those should be at ebay prices or below imo. Where I do have a problem is paying a high end graded cost on a book that is not actually graded. Sometimes you would end up paying twice as much (or more) as opposed to buying it graded already.
  17. I know it's modern, but thought I would mention the All Star Superman that came out a few years ago at JC Penny..... Might have been Sears. I forget where I got them
