  1. He reminds me of another magazine addict collector that I know.
  2. I'm afraid the humor of this will be lost on many.
  3. Depending on how you define Bronze Age (I personally use the first Adams GL as my start, YMMV) and if you include magazines, then there really isn't any contest for me.
  4. Amen, sir! Campus Town cover by Earle Bergey, 1951 Shock Suspenstories 6 cover by Wally Wood, Dec. 1952 I'm just saying.
  5. That's a very pretty example for one of the greatest covers ever to grace magazines or comics. Love it.
  6. I completely agree! The idea of beating up someone on price knowing you're going to sell it for more money is repugnant. l'd never do that to a member of the community. That would be very rude and make for a bad reputation in my book.
  7. You can post quality like that as often as you like! Great bunch of books!!
  8. That is the cover for that price guide. It could be a hand colored color guide which was often a photostat of the B&W art that was used for color selections. I'd post this in the original art forum here: https://boards.cgccomics.com/forum/41-original-comic-art/ Oh, and welcome to the boards.
  9. A lot of great books so far! Unfortunately, every time I find a book I like, it's already taken- @lizards2
  10. I bought this set from Dreamhaven about 25 years ago. Very tough to find in nice shape these days!
  11. Sweet Mary! That has to be a magazine record, right? I can't think of any Vampirella 1s coming close to that.
  12. Recent acquisitions. Brace yourselves, fellas. A couple of these are duplicates but I just can't pass up certain covers.
  13. From what I'm seeing right now, grading from CGC is extremely inconsistent. I have seen examples of ridiculously strict grading and ridiculously loose grading all in the last year or so. It is impossible to reconcile. Not a good look.
