I enjoy RQ, but it's nowhere near even my top 5 new comics and while the story and art are solid, just not a must read for me. Still check it our though. I never really got into RPG style board games and stuff. I can definitely see a female/cosplay bump helping the book though

Agreed on all fronts, I want the manifest 8 sketch but don't want to have to pay for the WD 129 too. Also I think there are just a few people hoarding these and letting them trickle out to drive up prices. Just not willing to drop that much on a non key

Just finished tpb 4, easily vaulted into my top 3 current series with saga and east of west. From the art to the writing, the humor, and I'm a suckered for alternate reality stories and was otherwise fascinated with the projects at that point in history. I couldn't recommend this book anymore to anyone who hasn't read it

Looks like plenty to go around and my LCS had a ton of the regular cover too. On a positive note, dcbs sent me an extra copy of the variant by accident, so that's cool

Isn't this good though, if you take away the that need to hoard regular copies of #1 by hoarder collectors by giving them something more collectible to focus on. That way the #1 regular remains affordable to whomever wishes to jump into the title. Sure, you can call it a manufactured collectible, but it's a collectible nonetheless. Just my thoughts. I guess it depends on your point of view. I've never purchased the RRP because of the price. It was the advertised cover for months prior to release and what I based my pre-order on. I like it a lot better than the regular green cover and I wish they would have made the RRP the green. They did try to make it up on issue #8 but it was brown. Ugh. Whats up dude ? Man, their postage costs are ridiculous! dont buy from there, very poor packaging unless you are looking for a f/vf copy I had really good luck with them on the Letter 44s I bought but it has been several months ago. I received mine boxed, in bags and boards protected by bubble wrap. Easy 9.6 - 9.8 copies. I had good luck with Boom on Polarity too. Did Oni change how they ship ? I believe they did change the way they ship, because I ordered mine around the time you did and mine were fine too but I remember a month or two later people posting that their shipping changed. My two orders were boxed and they threw in an extra copy or the reg 1 with each order

The copies at my LCS looked all good, probably 8 on the shelf, grabbed 2 and have more on the way from dcbs. Didn't do any of the variants though

That's sweet brother, not everything has to be slabbed especially if you're just keeping it for personal enjoyment. But my girlfriend goes to all the shows with me too and loves it, we have so much fun, let me know if go to c2e2 next year and we'll meet up. BTW, my girlfriend told me over the weekend that she thinks all of our home decor is going to be Batman themed in the future, she may be right...

I'm fine with an early bday present 2 days before my bday. And here's the sketch Jenny Frison did for me at c2e2, she was so nice, incredible and talented. I might try to set up a sketch op with her in the near future, not sure if she'll be down for it because she's super busy but we'll see.
