The copies at my LCS looked all good, probably 8 on the shelf, grabbed 2 and have more on the way from dcbs. Didn't do any of the variants though

That's sweet brother, not everything has to be slabbed especially if you're just keeping it for personal enjoyment. But my girlfriend goes to all the shows with me too and loves it, we have so much fun, let me know if go to c2e2 next year and we'll meet up. BTW, my girlfriend told me over the weekend that she thinks all of our home decor is going to be Batman themed in the future, she may be right...

I'm fine with an early bday present 2 days before my bday. And here's the sketch Jenny Frison did for me at c2e2, she was so nice, incredible and talented. I might try to set up a sketch op with her in the near future, not sure if she'll be down for it because she's super busy but we'll see.

He wasnt taking commissions at the show when I asked friday, but I would email him a month or a couple weeks out to see if he'd do one. I saw him remark some invincibles and also saw him sign what looked to be 2 full runs of invincible for the two guys ahead of me, haha. They didnt grade any either... he was a super nice guy and I didnt even have to wait long.

Got 2 ss' d. Not a long wait at all either, and a real nice guy. I saw him sign a stack of like 50 invinvibles for 2 guys in a row

You make some good points, I think for me personally it waters things down a bit. Not going to rehash the age old debate of the pros and cons of variants, but I will say that I am less inclined to buy more than just the regular cover when a title debuts with more than a couple different covers for each issue. It just becomes tedious with more and more titles being released this way.

Haha, I'm straight up giddy, and Jenny seems super nice too. Might see if she'll do a Harley Quinn or Powergirl or Psylocke (her Psylocke is kinda stunning...) sketch for me too if she has time. It was between Crow or Xioalin, I just think Crow is hotter and more interesting looking. Can't wait to see how it turns out.

It very well may be, and I still have a few preordered. I don't like that there's numerous covers, I think that may hurt the overall chances of it rising in value. Don't get me wrong though, I'm really looking forward to reading this title more than anything

You're not kidding, I just saw a ton of Image Firsts in the email Graham Crackers sends me. And I just got confirmation from the lovely Jenny Frison that she'll do a Crow sketch at c2e2 on one of my East of West 4 blanks!!!!!!!!

I'm so excited guys, been searching for a long while. Just need to figure out a few things with the seller. And yeah vike, I was surprised how many more FP's there were than the regular #1, just based on the print runs. I have a FP 9.9, and actually grabbed that instead of the regular 1 at the time bc I thought it might be rarer. Now to find other issues in 9.9... Might be another long wait.

For sure. Which shop do you go to? Jim at Graham Crackers Downers Grove is great when I need stuff. You can try dcbs too, I preordered 10 for like $1.80/book or something. Of course, they shorted me on my issue 1 Ottley variants when I preordered those too...

Very impressive set though On a side note, why have people ridiculously priced some EoW stuff on ebay? It's driving me insane, especially when they're unwilling to budge on their unreasonably inflated prices... And any other angry emoticon I may have left out...

I thought about it but I did around 10, not a lot of money, I think the market may be flooded with these... Don't think anyone's gonna be caught by surprise with this one unless there's allocations

Thanks for the heads up but not a chance, as much as I want it. That's insane to me, but to each their own. I should've grabbed the one I saw for $250 or 300 a while back but I was unemployed at the time...
