I wonder if that's why the scene of Jynn Erso fighting the tie fighter was taken out of rogue one. they decided to use it in this movie instead.

The green/yellow label is a relatively new thing. I think this comic may have been graded before green/yellow existed. I have a cap 4 that was a green label 3.0 (missing pages), that I then had signed by stan lee, so it came back a yellow label 0.5 because the green/yellow label didn't exist at that time. Also, I thought all tape was treated equally now, archival or not? Is that not the case?

I remember Joe's books. IIRC, that was the store that had the first several issues of fantastic four in the case by the register. Then, one day, they were all gone. I asked what happened to them, and they guy said someone paid I think it was $500 for the set. I was shocked anyone would pay that much for comics.

I remember that. That copy came up on ebay with a BIN of $1100 or $1200 or so. I saw it and hesitated for a split second too long, and it was gone. About a month later it showed up on CL.

That artist is Luis Avila (according to GCD). That style reminds me of some artist from the 80s/90s... it's got a McFarlane vibe to it but I'm not sure if that's who I am thinking of.

Actually, yes, I'm right... the last story page of FF #1 GRR is in black & white on the inside back cover and there is no ad. See this ebay listing. Well, all I can say is the pics you posted match my real FF #1, and don't match the pics you posted of the FF #1 GRR. In fact, I *think* the final story page in the GRR is printed in black&white on the inside back cover... maybe that's a different GRR, but I thought it was the FF #1. Has it been graded yet? If it is just in their filing system, sometimes stuff like this changes once it gets to grading.

I'm pretty sure they're wrong. That ad on the last page also matches my FF #1, and I'm 97.3% certain that ad is not in the GRR. Unfortunately my grrs of FF #1 are all slabbed and I don't think I have pics of the interior on those, but I'll check... Does yours have the ad I mentioned before after page 6?

Yeah, the bottom right panel on yours (smoke color) matches my FF #1.

In a real FF #1, the coloring on the smoke of reeds smoke gun (bottom right panel) is different.

The advertisements should be different. I think the GRR will either not have adds, or only have adds for golden records related stuff.
