  1. Yup, there's a second step to adding the books to your watch list. You can't just click the first link and add them. Comicconnect wants you to confirm it in the individual book page. Painful I know, but that's the system they've set up.
  2. You had to of added the books you're interested in to your watch list. I couldn't even see books I'd won until going down the watch list route.
  3. Are you saying a writer never used a story loop in the last 60 years at Marvel??
  4. Thats a lot of love for the Defenders, sitting on a box of 92's for 40 years and thinking that ship is going to arrive in the umpteenth stage of the MCU franchise, with the Multiverse storyline. Thats a pretty big crystal ball they're gazing into.
  5. If you read the breakdown for Defenders 92 in the Marvel.fandom the first Eternity is a child of the Multiverse Eternity. They go through the full detail of the character, and his role in the Ultimates storyline.
  6. I just picked up a pair of 9.8's of this book. Love me some Doctor Strange, and he'll be heavily immersed in the Multiverse... along with Spiderman, Loki, and more to come.
  7. It's hard to make out the points they're going for with the lower scores. But there will be plenty of people for whom Dune just won't resonate for them. It's not their cup of tea.
  8. It's like the first 10 reviews of every film on IMDB. The film is better than a cure for cancer. But in this case we do have to wait for the Joe Public response to get a the real measure.
  9. It peaked quickly but the look of things. Someone was keen to get their copy and set a nose-bleed bid that was probably intended to scare off the competition.
  10. This run is red hot at the moment. But this latest sale of TTA #93 is hard to conceive. The big prices has brought a lot of 9.6's, and 9.8's onto the market, but this sale...wow.
  11. You're neglecting the biggest aspect of comics. Comics for all the decades that have been in prevalence, have been directly, and indirectly connected with the American cinema culture. And never more so than the last decade. Nearly anyone who see's a movie now, know they're watching a Marvel, or a DC movie. Not Warner, Columbia, or United Pictures film, it's Marvel, or DC. It's a story of fantasy and high drama, with characters building on established genre. The comic book, and it's more popular characters are being iconised for the next 50 years, and beyond. The executives in charge of these films are well aware of the phenomena they are creating, bringing characters and storylines to the celluliod(4K) stage. Comic books are the inception, and the life blood of these films, and like so many things, people pursue where it all started.
  12. So now we know to take anything that happens on Heritage with a big dollop of salt.
  13. Your in the Silver age forum, exactly how many SA 9.9's have you said "no thanks" too??
  14. You're looking at things with pre-covid eye's. The movie land has changed, and won't be back to normal/comparability for a long time. No studio is putting big bucks into movie promo at the moment, they're playing their cards very tightly.
  15. Who would have thought that this day would come! It's astounding what this book is currently beating out.
  16. I'm not a fan of his style of humour either. NZ is more aligned to dry/black British humour, but Taika bucks that. But it does grow on you. Watching Jojo Rabbit was enjoyable in the end.
  17. He's already done an episode of the Mandalorian if you want a taste of his SW chops.
  18. Ditto, as advertised, good communication, and things are delivered on time, every time with Doug.
  19. Blackrock owns CGC, and a good amount of Pfizer share. So in terms of the next few rounds of booster shots slowing down TAT's, I wouldn't think so. You'd expect some kind of synergy.
