  1. I agree with @revat. It's within the boundary of the rules. G/S/B has so many threads now that you can get bumped off page 1 in 12 hours; you've either got to list piles of books, which is seldom the case anymore, or have a high interest thread, which is the case for a limited number of sellers, or find ways to manage your visibility within the confines of the rules.
  2. I sat this one out. Had several tracking bids in, thought about pursuing one or two but just wasn't motivated.
  3. Why does he need to bring it up if you are agreeing to the return? I hope he sees that I had a negative experience with him and have taken my business elsewhere.
  4. I keep a Google sheet with two tabs. One is for Adventure Time stuff (yes, I know, but hey, we're all collecting funny books). The other is everything else. I keep the title; grade; what I paid; guide value if I don't know what I paid; and any notes like classic cover, cover artist, pedigree. I'll denote volumes by year, so I might have Silver Surfer (2012) and Silver Surfer (2014). I should be current after the most recent culling. I don't add any comics to the boxes until I've cataloged them. I don't keep info like you're keeping: publishing date, publisher, etc.
  5. Blazing West #1, deslabbed CGC 9.0, OW, certificate included (old label) $300
  6. WEIRD SCIENCE-FANTASY #29 Grade: 5.0 VG/FN Price: $500 Lifted from BB: JUN 1955; Cream to off white pages. Classic Frank Frazetta cover. Last pre-code issue. From the Gary Arlington collection, known for bright colors and supple pages. COA included. From me: I'm actually knocking this down from 5.5 to 5.0 and adjusting the cost to reflect that.
  7. SOLD! VAULT OF HORROR #15 Grade: 4.5 VG + Price: $250 Presents better but I think 4.5 is a fair grade, so I'm sticking with it. Lifted from BB's original thread: OCT 1950; Off white to white pages. This is a striking cover, from the yellow logo against an indigo background, to Johnny Craig's graveyard scene. Inside Craig, Feldstein, Ingels, and Kamen draw more scary stuff better than anyone (not working on other EC books). From the Gary Arlington collection, known for bright colors and supple pages. COA included. From me: the colors are really nice. Very sharp copy for the grade.
  8. These two ECs come from the Gary Arlington collection, and I bought them earlier this year from BunkyBrian. I'm reluctantly putting them up for sale because, you know, I want the money. I may put other ill-advised purchases that have stressed my budget. Let's see what happens!

  10. Found on reddit, had to share.
  11. I had a negative experience buying from him and don’t do so anymore, but here, I think he is right to return it as he disagrees about pre- or post-manufacturing staples.
  12. I've seen these listed in the past in g/s/b. That's where I bought my copy in fact. If you don't get traction here, maybe you could try that forum
  13. Posting books and alluding to them having come from CBCS slabs ain't great in my book. It's a means of saying, "Hey, this has been professionally certified, but it's not in that slab so no worries about the whole no-voldy slabs rule." It's adding some authenticity to your advertised grade and trying to side-step the CGC's quite reasonable rules about the issue. If someone can produce a CGC label to go with an unslabbed book, that's totally fine. If the label is gone, I'm not really interested in what someone says about its former status.
  14. A thread is not a thread until at least one person tells you why you are wrong in myriad ways.
  15. Do you take 4-1/2 year old children? Motivated seller here. Message for details.
  16. I wanted to unload some of low end stuff, a lot of copper especially. I opened an eBay store and ran it for three months, and on top of my full time job, which I do from home mind you, it was exceedingly time consuming. Also once eBay and PayPal take their cut and you pay for all the packaging and shipping needs, it's a hard way to turn a dollar. It's definitely not for me. I got to a point where I sold all the stuff that would move fairly well, so the rest I took to a LCS. For different reasons, I have considered exiting the hobby entirely, and if I were to do that, I'd find a dealer to take what I have left. I just don't want to take time from the rest of my life to sell this stuff.
