  1. Who am I? DavidTheDavid, etc.the.etc., my kudos thread is at the bottom Shipping practices. I use USPS Priority and require a signature for purchases over $200.00, which applies to this comic. I will ship USPS Priority International at your cost, less $10 USD. I make a point of double-boxing slabs in the $$ range, which applies here. I will do my best to get it you safe and sound, despite the best efforts of USPS otherwise. Holla dolla bill, y'all. PayPal only. Returns. Nobody likes buyer's remorse. Just think before you buy. Else, I will take returns if you inform me within 7 calendar days of taking receipt of the book, and certainly if the best efforts of USPS bested my own best efforts at getting you the comic safe and sound. Did I forget anything? Be a dear and PM me.
  2. That Military Comics is just gorgeous. Good luck with finding the Cap.
  3. Really nice copies, sir. That Swamp Thing...I'm torn between it and the robot cover. Both are so cool and so well executed.
  4. *Warlock Special Edition #1-6 NM/NM+ set take it
  5. I'll take a Dr doom Need to check and see which other ones I got from you already. And the introductory one if available.
  6. And for those of you love TKDR but haven't read Miller and Varley's Ronin, go read it. Now.
  7. Batman: The Dark Knight Returns #2 (1986), first print, 9.4 Not on hold, $60 $50
  8. Batman: The Dark Knight Returns #1 (1986), 9.6 deslabbed with label, $200 $175 I was 14 when this comic published, and I just about lost my mind. It's still a beautiful cover.
  9. Batman The Cult. These covers and the Dark Knight really defined Batman for my childhood. On the heels of street grinders like Miller's Daredevil, in 1988 we got this gritty, occult story with the gloves off. Jim Starlin, Berni Wrightson, and and Bill Wray make for a heck of a team. I put these at 9.4+. Pretty copies, for sure. Price: $15 plus shipping
  10. So we found this cat Livin' in the hood His tail messed up And beggin' for food I said, heck yeah, I'll teach my son To tend this cat And call it Ron But yeah, one vet visit and $250 dollar poorer, I think I'd rather sell some comics than dig into savings for a stray. I hope to find it a home soon and let someone else foot the rest of the bill.

  12. 4.5 All the wear and the rusty staples, I'd be surprised if it pulled a 5.0.
  13. I like 5.5. I'd get it pressed and drycleaned myself. Like 1cool says, drycleaning probably means more, but some pressers, like the person who works on my comics, just drycleans as part of the pressing process (unless you fast path it). I would slab if it is special enough to warrant the preservation and presentation you get from a slab. Or I would slab it if you wanted to sell it as that will make the selling process a lot easier. If it's going to enter your collection and go into a shortbox, then I wouldn't bother with slabbing.
  14. Yeah, a smudge would wreck the grade. Thumb prints can do the same. I wouldn't slab it myself. I'd enjoy it in mylar and keep hunting if you want a super high grade copy.
  15. I was at 8.0 until I saw the top of that back cover. 7.0 imo.
  16. Looks like a nice, clean copy but the spine wear is what would bring it down for me. Looks like color loss there and maybe the top right corner, too? 9.2
