I sent double my usual monthly contributions this month, even shorting my estimated tax payment in order to do so.

If given a chance to handle a book like this outside a sleeve, I'd probably decline. I would be too nervous. I would surmise that many of the critics of that video suffer from a similar stunned enamoration around books of that value and significance. It's practically a supernatural talisman in the imagination of many run of the mill collectors like myself. For a professional grader, a high end collector, or a dealer who handles these somewhat routinely, it's not such an emotional, awestruck event. With all that mind, it certainly felt rather carefree, and the water, capped or not, is just boneheaded.

How I package and ship I take care to package your comics in the same manner that I want to receive them: well and with care. Typically, I use gemini mailers and a cardboard sandwich inside. Otherwise, I'll move up to USPS Priority boxes. One or two comics, I can ship First Class and save you some money. More than that, we need to use Priority Mail. I won't use Media Mail; please don't request it. Shipping is at cost: you provide an address, I weigh the package, you pay that price. Who can buy Boardies not in the Hall of Shame or Probation List can buy. There are a small number of people outside those lists who I wouldn't sell to, but they won't show up. They know who they are. What's being listed Stuff. Comics. Comic stuff, as long as the stuff is a comic. Trades! I will consider trades. I collect DC grey tones, Kubert covers, Weird War Tales series, Frank Miller Daredevil and others, Lone Ranger (Dell) series, and other generally underpopular interests.

34-37 I tried the new Conan Serpent Crown and Inferior 5 series, but will pass on anymore of them. Still enjoying Jimmy O and the regular Conan series though.

Unlike Gravin, I'm the type who could care less about production errors. They're mistakes and, in my mind, of no additional value. But as noted above, some people dig them. Generally, not worth slabbing regardless.
