  1. I would guess that you can do this, too, with those hippy west coasters in Oregon, but you can rent goats here to clean out yards.
  2. 33 This has origins for Tonto, Silver, and Lone Ranger, so those were fun to read. In the context of Western literature, it's interesting to see TLR demanding justice in the courts instead of each man taking the law into his own hands.
  3. We're getting really swingy weather here of late. Schools were closed for floods one day and closed for snow the next day, with temps jumping up and down. I'm eager to get outside and start gardening, but this is the time of year that frosts will kill off any premature gardening efforts.
  4. For positivity's sake: even though it's mid-winter with temps just below 60°F and the sky is cloudy, it's a great day to be outdoors for some yardwork and family play. Taking a snack break, then back outdoors.
  5. I quite liked Manifest Destiny. What did you think of it?
  6. Never met the man. I abhor his art, but hey, he's attached to a great character. Even so, is he an insufferable jackhole in person? He sure comes across as one.
  7. I had this wild video-game like dream once. I was surreptitiously, under the cover of darkness inside a house. It was a shotgun style house where every room led to one other room, straight as an arrow. There were comics strewn along the way, and I was trying to collect them, sort of like Mario collecting stars, but in a Keanu Reeves fashion. Then some kid showed up, kind of confused, and I was trying to ask where an adult was so I could pay for the comics. I got to the front room and noone was there. So I guess that means I will steal your comics in the night if I know where you live. Sorry, guys.
  8. I have never once had an erotic dream about a comic book character. Not even about Hell Boy, and that dude is HOT
  9. I was expecting a FedEx package today with my most recent ComicLink wins. And last night, I had a comic anxiety dream. As I opened the door to take possession of the comics, I found a large hole in the side of the box, as if someone had punched into it. I was inspecting that when a porch pirate drove up and snagged a second box that I hadn't noticed. I was unable to react and the comic thief took off! I awoke and stilled my racing heart..."it's only a dream, David, only a dream," I consoled myself. I've had other comic-related dreams, though never an anxiety one before. Anyone else care to share their subconscious comic yearnings?
  10. 32 I enjoyed the short takes for the most part. Editorial direction seems to have been very much about expressing Wonder Woman's moral compass.
  11. Turns out, these animated covers are all over. Found on Geekologie: Laughing Squid:
  12. @BmoGreen RMA can indeed be arrogant and condescending, but that doesn't mean he's wrong in this case. It seems rather apparent that you're at fault here and inappropriately gave negative feedback. You should accept a request by RMA to change the feedback on ebay, and if you can't bring yourself to leave positive feedback despite his attempts to accommodate a return, you should at least change it to neutral.
  13. Ya, makes me curious to read some books I otherwise would not have considered.
  14. I’ll risk stepping into this quagmire with a legitimate question. eBay doesn’t care if you offer refunds or not, right, for comics? They compel you to take them, like it or not? I recall a thread on the topic.
  15. It has the right number of pages according to what I have researched from more than one source. I will compare to other issues I have in the run and see, but it looks like it was manufactured this way.
  16. Who has seen it and what did you think? Also, good time but HQ keys?
