  1. Totally agree! I do like some of the variants but the follow up printings (especially during the early years) are what I like to collect. 116 third print (even though printed when the series was hot) fits into this category as well.
  2. @followtheleader, I agree, one of the best series ever created. I regret not buying multiples two years ago when prices where down. But I don’t have any regrets. Honestly you can’t lose with this series. IMHO it’s the TMNT of the modern era. I do own a full run of all printings. Now I’m just buying 9.8’s of covers I like.
  3. Lately I’ve been going back to collecting The Walking Dead. If I find them at a decent price I grab ‘em. I want 1-10 in 9.8 to include second prints. Thinking about picking up another 9.8 #1 but with the black mature label.
  4. Aaron contacted me in regards to a book I was looking for on my WTB thread. All is can say is not only us he a great guy but a fantastic and reliable seller. Pleasure doing business with you! Can’t wait for the next time.
  5. Grabbed this at a decent price. Always loved this cover.
  6. It doesn’t have to be copper age or a Punisher title. Just has to have the Punisher on it.
  7. Thank you! I was slow to get on the Joe train. The only issue that I paid “a lot” for was issue 21. Compared to today’s prices it was a steal. I should have bought more, lol.
  8. @nepatkmpost that picture you have of all the 9.8’s when you get a chance.
  9. I wouldn’t slab it. Keep it as is, get a nice Mylar and top loader for it. Nice book!
  10. There is a lot of validity to your comment. Depending on the book I definitely fit into this category when I came to completely my TMNT runs. My line of thinking is to grab it when you can, upgrade later.
  11. Thank you @ramrod44 DHP 52, 59 and the good ol’ Aliens mini comic. My apologies, I do not have a pic of the DHP 59 right now. Initial Sin City run and 1st prints of the AVP registry set is complete.
  12. With #29 and #30 the Laird sketch fetches the highest prices even compared to the graded ones. Here are some recent eBay listings over the past couple months. I’ve found these pretty consistent over the last year and a half. Seems as though grading doesn’t matter with these books. Couldn’t tell you why.
  13. Yes issues 25-28 $50-100 each issue 29 I’ve seen sell for over $3k average price is around $2k Issue 30 $1-2k Issues 31&32 $200-300 each Issues 1-24 run about $10 each
  14. I’ve only seen two for sale, ever. Glad I snagged one. Tales of the TMNT vol 2 #32 Wayne center for arts variant. It was a give away and limited to 500 copies.
