  1. After sleeping on it, I still think this is an insanely EPIC flick! -

However I for one feel (and I say this because it was such a marathon movie) that if this was the last comic book movie I'd be ok with it.

I just don't know how this series could be topped. With this crazy cash cow the movies AREN'T in no way shape or form stop any time soon.

But I wonder if others ( that aren't a omni comic nerd like myself) feel this same? Makes me wonder if the burn out will happen?

There is plenty of comic book material that hasn't been covered to make great movies, but will they do them justice like this movie?

    I wonder.

I just wish Stan could've stayed with us a few more months to see this beautiful wrap up!

I miss your antics buddy, godspeed and RIP

It's amazing how much the market has changed. Just a few years ago I had a 9.0/9.2 raw copy of this book on the boards and I pretty much couldn't give it away.

I always thought it was a fantastic, above average cover.

you can say that again! I started LB collecting when it was reasonable and now to finish this collection has been a bare.

oh well, at least I got some of them cheap.

so many folks have said I'm crazy for not flipping now, but some of these are next to impossible to find in grade and it makes me sad to not see them again.

  3. I'm taking the fam up for spring break at the big apple...

Other than the touristy stuff - I was planning on dropping by Metro to maybe see their warehouse.
Is there anything else comic related that would be cool?

I love to look at rare GA or OA and I love to sit around and drink a few pints while talking comics.

  4. I thought this movie was ok. A 2.75 out of 5.

There were some neat surprises. But this will be a watch at the theatre and no need to see it again type of flick.

I thought there were some less than interesting messages in the under tones of this movie.

One of my millennial buds said "it will be very annoying if all the heroes that we've been watching for over a decade (that got their arses crushed in IW) just take a back seat while Captain Marvel destroys Thanos with ease."

Take it for what it is.

    Meh!

I think CGC should send a group of drunken cosplayers over to their house and rough em up.

I'm not sure how well of a deterrent that would be because some people would pay good money to receive this type of treatment.
