So this is a live action movie. The confusing part is G.I. Joe being in the mix. The new GI Joe movie slated for a 2020 release and has both Paramount and Hasbro listed as some of the partners of the production. So, going by the earlier release, all these movies are supposed to tie in together. I would have to think ROM would be next over movie like MASK and Visionaries. ROM in 9.8 had a nice bump when this was announced at the end of 2015. It's now about half the price it was back then. May be a good time to buy.

Yes, agreed. There are peaks and valleys. Buying and selling and selling at optimal times is based on watching for these. My point of the post was that it was already "optioned".

Blue Marvel has been involved in ongoing rumors to be brought into the MCU. He was included with others like America Chavez earlier this year. She is rumored to have a show coming but it has not been reported by any reliable news source yet.

Yes, you are certainly allowed to like whatever you want. What I said was just because it's on a label, or not on a label, that doesn't mean it's correct. For instance, CGC has still not put Naomi's first appearance on Naomi #1. A book that came out 6 months ago. Just one simple instance of many.

CGC is a grading company that sometimes adds notation to a comic book label. They are not the market determinant, nor always correct in what you are looking for.

This movie takes place between Civil War and Infinity War. Not really surprising that RDJ is in it.

GotG books have done very well compared to before a movie was announced. Hulk 271 was found in many $1 bins when the movie was announced. Still an easy 100 bill in high grade. Same with Star Lord. Gamora and Nebula never really took off to begin with. Once again, OP did not ask long term value of these books past a movie. They asked what book to pickup before the movie releases. And that's the Eternals movie, which I have stated he will have a small role in. Why would you wait a year to buy? That's when the movie hype will be reaching it's peak.

You're not looking at the bigger picture as to why people buy these books when they do. There is more to it than the comic character. It has to do with who is playing the character. Also, TV vs. cinema is a huge difference with Marvel properties because their movies are so popular. Anybody looked at Eternals #3 when Angelina Jolie was rumored to play her vs. when it was revealed she is playing a different character?

It's square bound. Not going to be cheap to counterfeit. I don't recall hearing of any Star Wars Vader Down being faked and that would be an easier book to do it with.
