  1. I typically enjoy Chucks stories. Then you can also have fun determining fact from fiction.
  2. It seems you’re asking people to spend their time to provide you information for free. I think you have brought up some good topics that could start conversations with your own input first.
  3. What Second Blight is not saying is that Al Ewing is coming on to write Guardians since Cates is going over to Thor and he will be bringing in Marvel Boy. https://comicbook.com/marvel/2019/10/04/guardians-of-the-galaxy-al-ewing-marvel-boy-noh-varr/
  4. That's something I could get behind. Easier to gauge as well due to more frequent sales, presumably. This has variants: https://www.sellmycomicbooks.com/most-valuable-comic-books-modern-age.html
  5. I think you may be the first person to ever say that. Hulk 180...181 Jimmy Olson 134....Forever People 1
  6. Ah, well that makes sense as it has been done regularly now. That wasn't mentioned before.
  7. I have been very pleased with these: https://www.papermart.com/p/brown-corrugated-sheets-pads/4652
  8. All it means is the winner declined to buy. I believe you can make as many offers to buyers as you want. It's not like you have to go down the line and wait for them to decline.
  9. A bid retraction can only happen when the auction is live. Once it closes the buyer can request to cancel the sale, contact the buyer to cancel it, etc...
  10. Found it: https://www.ebay.com/bfl/viewbids/163891075664?item=163891075664&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2565 The winning bidder was present on a couple other bids. Look at #2 for instance and see what their highest automatic bid was that lost to the winner. Strangely odd price. But, typically with suspected shill bidding like this you see some bid retractions because they went over the high bidders price. I do not see any retractions on any of the auctions.
  11. I even quoted everything you said that had nothing to do with best offers..
  12. I know how shill bidding works. That is why I posted all of the bidding results of the auctions. The feedback scores are too high for the winners to suggest price manipulation for a few books worth less than $200 each and relatively around market price. Can you post a link to the #12 auction? I have located the seller that had a number of Godzilla 9.8s last night, but no auction for #12. Perhaps it switched to a BIN if someone else was offered a second chance and bought it? Also, the sale of #12 has the same circumstances of #8 which I posted above.
  13. Yes, it does. What does that have to do with your original response and my response to that?
  14. Yes, that was already produced that they were filing the under $50k (990N). But that was for last year which cannot be tracked through eBay. They could change it this year.
  15. As a seller yourself, you know the importance of repeat customers. So going back to the same people repeatedly will allow better pricing on their side because of long term returns. Cracking the ice on a first sale is a different story however because I personally feel it gives you a gauge for future interactions, or lack thereof.
  16. Also #1 - ended at the 90 day avg. #2 - below the 90 day avg. #6 - 1 sale this year and 1 last year. Does not come up often or is not bought regularly apparently. #8 - 1 sale this year and 2 last. Albeit considerably higher this year (2x).
  17. All were won by different bidders that have good feedback scores. Sometimes the market adjusts. https://www.ebay.com/bfl/viewbids/163891070460?item=163891070460&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2565&showauto=true https://www.ebay.com/bfl/viewbids/163891068533?item=163891068533&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2565&showauto=true https://www.ebay.com/bfl/viewbids/163891066015?item=163891066015&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2565&showauto=true https://www.ebay.com/bfl/viewbids/163891044764?item=163891044764&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2565&showauto=true
  18. Then you are getting results from 3 months ago vs. yesterday which is largely irrelevant in this day and age. Especially with Moderns.
  19. Halloween is coming up. Obviously Pump-Kin Man (that has a different meaning in some states).
  20. Ah, well now I'm the most convince-ist. Don't forget, they were really 10.0's.
