  1. I think everyone will admit that is shocking. But, because it's Bronze it's not as surprising. A book that's 10 years old and more valuable than Hulk 181 is.
  2. The character has appeared in 45 issues. Longer than any Marvel series run before a reboot.
  3. Are people really paying a premium for: https://www.cgccomics.com/boards/topic/435934-4-modern-characters-buyspec-sell-or-hold/
  4. 1 : to see beforehand; specifically : to view or to show in advance of public presentation 2 : to give a preliminary survey of "to see", appear Your pre-internet opinion. There is no governing body for comic books for unbiased decisions.
  5. Amazing Spider-Man #245 NM+ 9.6-9.8 $12 These have a slight spine roll that some heavy books would take care of no problem. New Teen Ttians #16 NM 9.4 $9 New Teen Ttians #16 NM 9.6-9.8 $12 Tales of the New Teen Ttians #1 NM 9.6-9.8 $10
  6. Right, that's why comic conventions are held in convention centers now, not VFW halls now. Right?
  7. I can usually find some good deals on books that people are unaware of or the guide has yet to update. However if you're looking for a common bronze age book, yes. It will probably be overpriced compared to eBay or a convention.
  8. Whatever happened to using your eyes and seeing something for the first time? First "appearance". Your definition is not an industry standard. Nor is cameo, etc.. If you don't agree, that's fine. I think the market has spoken on this particular book as to which they would rather have. A birthday is just that. The day of birth. You're confusing different things.
  9. I can only respond to what is written. OP did not say they would make $30 total. They said $1-$30 per book.
  10. I think if you and me were given $900 we could spend it better than a $100 profit.
  11. Horrible ROI. If you can buy it from one place and turn around and immediately sell it, then it's fine. But you have to factor in how long you are going to have your cash tied up in it and what method are you selling? In person with cash? If it's at a show there is overhead to factor. Any other way you're not getting $100 profit.
  12. Nice work! Were all of his commissions from that show reused? That's the same show the art that was used on Venom Inc. Alpha #1 was done. Which was also a commission.
  13. That's my thought too since it's not as refined as his cover work he is actually paid for.
  14. Yes, I'm aware who is selling it. They are the culprits of a ton of recycled artwork which cuts out a commission fee for the artist. I was asking if this was another.
  15. Invincible Iron Man #7 NM 9.4 + #7 3rd Print + #9 2nd Print MOVED TO eBay $45
