The shill bidder has been removed / banned. All that does is revert to the last high bid before them from a legit account. Example: So Joe is now the high bidder at $10,000,000 because a fake account bid him up by putting in a bid of $10,000,001. Yes, Joe has committed to paying that amount, BUT it may have never reached that price because there was nobody else that wanted to lay that much. So the market may only be one person at that price. But now the sales are skewed.

This is exactly why people shill bid. They create a fake account that is removed, so what. They have now pushed a book into an all-time high price that someone else will end up paying as a result. We don't know what the actual open market value is now because it was trumped up by a false bidder. This creates false satatistics for price and most likely the shill bidder is going to sell theirs. It happened with the Rick & Morty variant but it was too late by that point.

Wow, that didn't take long. The shill bidder was removed and thus the bids that were pushed up remain. This was also the same bidder that had "won" the recent raw. I will say this was a direct or indirect result of Jay pointing out the bidding activity.

Keep a close eye on both the active ones. I think things will change before it closes based on the bidder running it up.

Shill bidding is not restricted to only the selling bidding up their own items. And eBay agrees with that on this one.
