  1. The set is still available from the shop btw.
  2. 1. Better check that list again for the books that sell for $1,500. Including the one I routinely point out. Is there a sale of $1,500? Yes, before 2018 the last one was 2013. Yet it has been on the list since the beginning. 2. There are no rules for how much a book needs to sell for nor the number of books on the list. 3. Glad you referenced back to the first page. Looks like there SHOULD be another addition that was mentioned when the thread was originally created. The holes in your reasoning is sometimes you say "not enough sales", sometimes is "not enough high sales", now it's "it has to be $1,500". This is your thread an your rules, just pointing out the holes.
  3. There will never be enough of the Vengeance of Moon Knight as it is indeed on of the most rare. Still, two recent sales is worthy. Spawn #189 has sold for $1,100 last year and this year. 3 sales total with an average of $1,016. Spawn #185 is not trackable as is only sells raw. Yet its' still on YOUR list. Love pointing out the holes in your random assemblage.
  4. Wow, you're right. They have a stock image up! Stock image for a $30k book
  5. Yes, hard to see from my crappy pictures, but the B&W they left they eyes green and it really pops in hand.
  6. Yes, like my post yesterday where I mentioned sepculation on new / renewed interest on Fantastic Four. Metro has 3. All very high grade including a 9.8 raw for $30k.
  7. Don't look at this one: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Amazing-Spider-Man-347-CGC-9-8-1991-Marvel-Comics-VENOM-COVER-LARSEN-NEWSSTAND-/113113704359?hash=item1a561a27a7%3Ag%3AvzoAAOSwnDJbNaa3&nma=true&si=SFo%2BFDYmEZLFlyjly8BZO7WI7tk%3D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557
  8. Story drama aside, the Middleton is just stunning in hand. It's probably modeled after Audrey Hepburn.
  9. The market is HOT! Vengeance of Moon Knight #1 Virgin: CGC 9.8 sold in April for $2,100 CGC 9.2 sold in May for $911 Spawn #189 B&W Variant CGC 9.8 just sold for $1,100 and then, the biggie... Spawn #185 B&W Variant just sold for $3,850.....RAW.....
  10. Tales of Suspense #52 is seeing some high water marks. Most likely because of new solo movie news. TOS #52 VG/F $450 raw TOS #52 CGC 1.8 $242.50 TOS #52 CGC 4.0 $450
  11. They weren't really integrated into Marvel though. I think they had two issues of crossover with Spider-Man. The movie did well. They were planning on a second but I haven't heard anything in a while.
  12. Print run is pretty irrelevant. It's more of which will be the most popular and thus tip the scales of demand>supply.
  13. What's is the actual speculation though? That's what I mean. Will Wolverine appear in another movie? Yes, I guarantee it. That's not speculation.
  14. It's a shame. You have a lot of good knowledge to share, but lack in the conversation part.
  15. I respond fairly timely to your posts. I've made other posts in other threads during that time.
  16. You asked me to stop and thus I did after I made my case. Just as I said.
  17. I had made my case yet you keep bringing me back in. I'm the one who needs to take a nicer approach? Coming from you that's hilarious. How many "timeouts" do you have? I've made my case already and others have agreed. But just to add a little more backup, here's a couple more quotes: Auction 1: I drove the high bidder...I am the 3376 bidder. I was interested in seeing how high he would go. Unfortunately, I forgot about the auction at the end, but another bidder came along, trying to snipe, but couldn't. Auction 2 (live auction): Well, I threw my bid into the ring. Pushing the price up to "see how high it would go" but not winning, is a tactic that could be considered shill bidding. A tactic often associated with one method of pump and dump. I'll explain why you have a vested interest in this book since you are not comprehending it. You have stated you own one of the four KNOWN copies. You, along with every person on the planet, does not know what tomorrow brings. You have stated you do not plan on selling, which I assume true. But, any day something could happen causing me, you, someone else to liquidate their collectibles. In fact it happens all the time. Say that doesn't happen and you carry it to your last days. After that, it will come into the possession of someone else like a family member. At which time the value of that comic will be important.
  18. Ha, no doubt, thanks! Looks like it still is! I don't see Squirrel Girl on their website though. https://shop.scholastic.com/parent-ecommerce/search-results.html?search=1&prefilter=&text= Comic Books and Graphic Novels,
  19. I'm confused. Have people somehow forgetten that Wolverine has appeared in almost 10 successful movies, regularly? Along with regular floppies (oh, but he "died"...right). I don't see how a Fox deal has anything to do with "speculation". FF #1 on the other hand has a lot of upside because the movies were not good and they cancelled the floppies. That's where speculation comes in. It may have been at the basement price a couple years ago, barring a collapse. I think Wolverine has more to do with people wanting a copy and it getting marked up 10% every time it changes hands. What an I missing?
  20. Didnt see any 800s. Picked up an 801 for $1. Saw a couple 798s too. Saw the Otto and Moebius virgins priced right at what the sold for Friday on the bay.
  21. Cool, was not aware of that. Are they new stories or just the regular issues?
  22. Why is Miles "cool" and Kamala is a SJW character? You obviously don't know what you're talking about.
  23. Ms Marvel is selling about 14-15k. Squirrel Girl has over a year of issues to go before it gets to #50 and the last month it was only about 9k in sales. Gwenpool was selling about 13k when it was cancelled. Only thing that would make sense is that Gwen doesn't sell as well in trades and digital. Or maybe there is some other plan for her? The last 7 sales for a 9.8 were over $1k.
