  1. You took a nice approach to explaining the situation and seem reasonable. I felt a like was warranted. Good luck.
  2. What Marvel comic has been ongoing for the past 10 years? Amazing Spider-Man (well, kind of), Deadpool? (Different series / crossovers) X-Men (a team that changes) Wolverine? (He dead, well was, Old Man Logan count?) X-23 (cancelled to bring back Wolverine) Marvel is not in the business of ongoing series anymore. I don't find it a good indicator of popularity. The only one I don't like is Spider-Gwen because she's based on a dead character. Miles is interesting now that Secret Wars Vol. 8 or whatever basically killed off different universe's. I think there is room for multiple Spiders. Ms. Marvel is a good, different story. It just may take a while to become more popular. Newer readers.
  3. vest·ed in·ter·est ˌvestəd ˈint(ə)rəst/ noun a personal stake or involvement in an undertaking or state of affairs, especially one with an expectation of financial gain.
  4. Monster Men is the second arc of Rebirth. That's the cover B to issue #7.
  5. Not that one. But when the announced the casting a year ago I found a couple more. Sold those too. https://www.cgccomics.com/boards/topic/376109-official-antman-2-movie-thread-antman-amp-the-wasp-july-6th-2018/?do=findComment&comment=9853796
  6. That's where the whole context of the pump and dump originated and the whole discussion.
  7. Because it's been selling for $20+ raw for over a year. It's not heating up.
  8. Haha, you're right, nobody! BTW, besides the listing for the three graded comics, the next two are 9.4's that sold for $149 and $125. A 9.2 sold two weeks ago for $150.
  9. That's for 3 graded books. Do you really think this book is going to be worth squat in two weeks?
  10. Where was this survey taken place regarding how many known copies? Also, you're taking this out of context. It was in the context of relating to a live auction. In which the poster has a vested interest.
  11. You can say whatever you want about my chutzpah. That's exactly how it reads. It's misleading. Fact of the matter you made that statement in a thread that was started stating there were 7 known copies. Then prices started to skyrocket and more came out. More than are even documented in this thread. Exact same thing could happen.
  12. In this case, no. They both have the same meaning. Trying to establish that there are only four copies in circulation.
  13. What have I done that is dishonest? Have I told someone there are four copies of a book and then provide a link to a live auction?
  14. Not Kirk, you. You said right here: "I think this is true" (4 known copies) I'm not sure where the quote that is in bold is from. There is no reference to it. And yes, saying I think there are four copies of a book that has a live auction going on a providing a link is exactly what pump and dump is.
  15. Creating false hype on a live auction by stating that there are only 4 copies of a comic book. Just like when this thread was started there were "7 known". Now there are twice that and that's the ones that we know have come to market to be sold. Pretty much the exact scenario of a pump and dump.
  16. Just like the 7 copies of Batman #457. Puuuummmpppp and duuuummmmmppppp.
  17. They are having both on the cover. The legacy numbering will be below and smaller. You can kind of see it on this cover for example: https://www.cgccomics.com/boards/topic/386506-celebrate-dellotto/?do=findComment&comment=10292420
  18. So you're the person who bought the Robocop comic books.
  19. We don't know what the terms are. A number of these are recycled commissions. Dell Otto may still own the rights to use them or the owner could.
