  1. I think we both know that the only person that could know actual print runs is the printer.
  2. And then you get more because of damages. While others order 1,000 and possibly destroy the lower grades down to 600.
  3. so food costs are the same across the country? Definitely not true. Just like buying a comic at SDCC will most likely cost you more than the con down the street.
  4. That could be applied regionally., not nationally.
  5. Right, your job is buying and selling comic books. You have your own database even. There are things at my job that I don't have to lookup every time I do them also. Like remembering 2 scoops or 3.
  6. "original Cal thread" ? Going to have to be more specific. Decade / year / month / date / hour That should get us close enough.
  7. Batman #47 Ross Sketch Variant NM 9.4 $5 (2 1 available) SOLD
  8. Egotistical...ok. I already apologized on the previous print runs a page back. So, as you explained it. Bullet will get 1,000 copies and is selling 1,000 copies as 9.6 or better. You're saying right there more than 1,000 will be printed. Will replacements be printed at a later date? (2nd prints) But then you also said quantities of 200 can't be printed. Which I agree they print to a certain number whether they need them or not (case?). So how are exact numbers of replacements going to be met? Clear as mud.
  9. They can sell it on eBay if they want and have the following factors at hand: 1. FMV is not what you walk away with on eBay after fees. 2. Most people on eBay are not repeat buyers. It's a matter of price. 3. There are lots of people on eBay without scruples who will make inaccurate claims or take advantage of the return system. (time spent) 4. You have to ship it (time spent, $ shipping supplies). 5. The tax man knows what you are making (tax implications). 6. See first 5 reasons.
  10. Unfortunately, the "fake news" is the new way to spread your agenda in the U.S. Nothing that I have said has been disproved by yourself or others in this thread. I have bought several of Bulletproofs variants myself because they are great. That has nothing to do with what we are talking about which is how many are "printed" (we will never know).
  11. Not hard to find. Limited relative to the regular print run, sure. Almost every comic book is limited in that comparison.
  12. Yes, and you said nobody's had stated what they do with extras but I just did.
  13. The Harley pinks they said 1,000 and stated 200 will be assumed damaged. Now they are saying 950 GUARANTEED 9.6 and 60 graded 9.8s. Where the assumption? I'm drawing parallels from facts.
  14. CGC said they are going to let the market decide first. Capullo said it's Metal. Of course, he's taking the Liefled route promoting his own work, not something someone else did.
  15. Yes they have. Some that have done the guaranteed 9.8s and no raws have them sent to the grading company who destroys the remainder printed. Thing is, they always print more than they say to cover damage, comps and test prints. They always print more than is advertised. It's not up to the retailer. Even Bulletproof is saying the virgin is limited to 1,000 and they will all be 9.6 or higher. But in the last they have accounted for 20% damage. So, they are printing at least 1,200 would be my guess.
  16. I was mistaken in thinking that Bulletproof was doing 600 on their virgins and raised the print this time. When in fact that has been the released numbers for all the special variants. I apologize.
  17. Yes, why would I. Have something to share?
  18. Nobody's going to comment on the thread tags?
  19. Why would I? Maybe they throw 400 down in the sewer. Doesn't really matter to me.
  20. Um, #3 Mattina was 600. Where is the "fake" part? Bulletproof may not do less, but others do.
  21. "Oh, it's that much. OK, I was wondering because I have one."
