It's a little too soon to declare that there is no speculative bubble surrounding The Walking Dead. As stated many, many times the true test of this book will come a few years after the television show is cancelled.
Shows like this don't get cancelled. They choose to end them.

Green label yes. That being said I have seen many detached staples on blue label books in the 6.0-7.0 range.
Hmm, thought it was an automatic 4 or less. I'm no where near knowing what I'm talking about though.

Except Gambit wasn't on the cover of the X-Men Annual #14, that probably was a big influence with what book became the market favorite.
Besides, from the text we now see inside Avenging #9, it's without a doubt Marvel acknowledges Captain Marvel #1 won't come out until a week after Avenging #9 and even makes note of it.
