I've sold 3 Batman Harley quinn #1's @$300 per this year. Mad Love #1 is the one that I would be stocking up on as it can still be had for cheaper. =undervalued at the moment. I think BA #12 won't be seeing anything resembling a price decrease anytime soon. Those are the big three Harley books, and I wouldn't be surprised if the two 2nd place books double over the next year.
Is there an echo in here? Ha (thumbs u

I wasn't comparing Harley to Deadpool, I was noting that when a character is scheduled to appear in a movie, not only does the 1st appearance book go up but other key books go up also.
Absolutely, it was more a rebuttal to Whetton and another "key". There is one true "key" but it depends on your definition there could be two others.

Not sure if this is a Copper Age or a Modern Age book but here goes:
Batman Harley Quinn #1 CGC 9.8 @ $175 & 59 watchers. That's a pretty impressive number. Is the market finding room for 2 Harley Quinn keys or has Batman Adventures #12 gotten to expensive?
didn't we see this with NM98 where that book got so big that it brought up other books with it (X-Force 2, Deadpool Circle Chase etc)
I suspect with Harley, #1, Mad Love and others will go up in value.
If I had any of these books, the time to post would be now or wait till casting is officially confirmed.
All 3 books have always been sought after. Her early appearances are harder to find than Deadpool. X-Force #2 vs. Bat/Harley #1? What other Deadpool books have been sought after that are not ridiculously low variants that cost $50 when released?

The problem:
The Marvel source material is barely like the Disney material.
With that logic, this:
would be more valuable than this:

how much of that indie market do you think is speculative driven though? From 20% to 40% in 5 years without many headline titles to account for, sounds pretty bubbly to me.
I guess you haven't read any. What Vol. is Captain America about to be on, 8?

Still only 6 non-big two in the top 100.

The Titanic sank
Grizzley Adams DID have a beard.

Any other books heating up here? I need a little bit of excitement.
Yes

Ms. Marvel 1 just tanked compared to the last sales.

Really expected better..
Which is the chance you take when you don't price your books high enough.
Seems like great prices to me compared to a year ago.

Smart move unloading a third appearance.

IDW's Ghostbusters & TMNT #1 Gold Variant @ $127 & 44 watchers. Actually, I see a couple of them on the top ten. So it's popular at the moment.
Tooth & Claw #1 Black and White Variant @ $22 & 37 watchers. I don't know anything about this one.
Edge of Spider-Verse #2 1:25 Variant @ $87 & 30 bids. I have numerous copies of these variants along with the regular cover all over the Modern Age section of Lyria. It's something of a phenomena for spidey lore lovers.
Limited to 500 I believe and they were allocated to retailers without any prior knowledge. Not all retailers of course.

I had one X-Force 2 that was from off the stand. Had no problem picking lots more up, even passed on some on the cheap.
-
Yes, I ACTUALLY *did* look! OK, the book must clearly be worth $25 (despite the fact that it's readily available in bulk for $9,99).
I stand corrected.
People don't know where to look though. How many times do we see people paying higher in auctions than BINs available?
-
I don't see a single recorded sale of $24 on this book. Am I missing something...?
I also think the gray "shadow" on the b/w variant looks like . Should have just gone without it.
Did you look or were you waiting for someone else to do the work for you?

Cap America #21 is moving well at 8-10.00, surprised there arent too many listed
Surprised Avengers #35 hasn't picked up.

Did you even read what I wrote.
Captain Marvel #14 is the 1st appearance of Kamala Khan.
Captain Marvel #17 is the 1st appearance of Kamala Khan as the new Ms. Marvel.
Kamala Khan is just a 16 year old girl in Captain Marvel #14. That's it. Kamala Khan becoimes the new Ms. Marvel in Captain Marvel #17. I will the collectors decide which print is more significant for Captain Marvel #17. There is no cameos.
If that's all that she appears in #14 it would be a cameo. 1 panel and unnamed.
And ygogolak is always wrong.

Don't know if you'd call this heating up , but 7 bids and it's been selling well since he showed up in the NYCC Alex Ross secret wars teaser.
Maybe there's still time to buy
Just sold mine for $1 in the selling forum. These boardies are sleuths.

Sold my TDKR #1 CGC 9.6 for $200. Carrie Kelly rumors driving this book?
Absolutely.

Captain marvel 17 plus ms marvel 1 is hot
I've even seen the 2nd print of 17 doing okay because the new Ms. Marvel is on the cover. I'm a 1st print guy only because you can reprint indefinitely but it is a neat feature imo.
1st Kamala Khan is Captain Marvel # 14.
Unnamed. Is this the issue where she is in her dorm room on the last couple of pages and they don't even show her, just her arm or something?
There is no dispute here. Captain Marvel #14 is the 1st Appearance of Kamala Khan.
In the series, Khan takes the name Ms. Marvel from Carol Danvers, who now goes by the alias Captain Marvel. Captain Marvel writer Kelly Sue DeConnick revealed that Khan actually made a brief appearance in Captain Marvel #14 (August 2013) saying, "Kamala is in the background of a scene in Captain Marvel 14... She is very deliberately placed in a position where she sees Carol protecting civilians from Yon-Rogg."[5] About Khan's relationship with Danvers, Wilson said

Captain Marvel #17 - 1st Appearance of Kamala Khan as the New Ms. Marvel
Um, who's disputing what? The first word in my reply is "Unnamed", which is exactly the situation you just described.

I have been following CA Miracleman and saw a #1 CGC 9.8 sold in Oct for $102
Item number:321539924331
I was selling those on here a few years ago for $35
Slabbed? Not much of a return on that is there?
#1 is such a common book though.
Yes, but when you have to buy them and pay for them to get graded then sell them at $35 there isn't much room for profit.

My opinion is how can it get better than when it comes off the production line? If it was messed up on the line it's still a 10.0 when it gets to the end because that was the best produced. The problem is nobody is standing there watching each batch that comes off for quality control. Either that or you have an opinion that some books don't have a 10.0.
Bingo
Some books
I agree, some books don't have a 10.0.
That is how CGC views it. I understand that they have to have some type of system that can be applied across the board to all books.
My view however is that a 10 would be the best book ever produced. If all the books are produced cut in half but one makes it out only 1/4 of the book missing, that is the 10. This would be impossible to implement however.
Moderns that are heating up on ebay!
