5.0 to 9.4,when I started my Spidey and FF sets,I knew the early books would never be 9.0 and up....so I set my sights on mid to high grade,so I could complete them.I tried to gradually bump up the grades as the run went on,and I did for the most part.I am very content being in the middle of the pack,heh...

If you want to throw money into ongoing traffic.........Aquaclown and Subby are dead...D...E...D......nobody is banking on 2 guys that swim real good and talk to dopey fishes,or live in some stupid place under water and hates humans.....good luck with that special snowflake story.......

nice pic skank......BUT, who else has the incredibly rare "the wheels are in motion" T shirt?? -
I've always enjoyed # 4 myself, as well. Great story; the Torch finding Namor, and the Thing carrying an atom bomb on his back into the Giganto's mouth is so over the top.
FF # 5 is no slouch, either. Our first taste of Sinnott's inks over Kirby on FF is a treat.
FF # 6 with Doom & Subby - awesome!
It's a nice little run of early stories, along with the Skrull story in # 2.
Anyone notice how it was the Torch's actions that brought back Namor into the silver age, and then a little later it was Namor's actions that brought Captain America back into the Silver Age.
The three Timely heroes - the Torch, Namor & Cap (even though the Torch was a different character, he's still the Human Torch).
wow,you are so right, never got the connection till now!....they must have been smoking cigars and drinkin scotch saying "let's get these old guys back,I'll make Namor a homeless bum,and then make him throw an iceberg and wake Cap up!

I got here far too late to enjoy the action firsthand but I've always been curious as to what happened with the lawsuit
Same thing that happend to the lawsuits he threatened me with, nothing.
He also wanted to beat me up so I posted a picture of myself, gave him my address and also posted when and where I would be at comic cons. Coward never showed.
Classic.
More classic than the time he offered to fly me to NYC, buy me a steak dinner, and then murder me? He was the best of all of us. <3
Did you take him up? I have to believe, of that offer, he wouldn't come through.

I'd take him up on it right now. *packing bags*
