  2. Welcome to my sales thread. First post trumps any pm's. Payment via Paypal. Priority shipping $8.00 in CONTUS. International shipping ok but we'll need to figure cost. Returns(within 30 days of receipt) are ok so long as buyer pays return shipping fee, unless I make a reckless mistake. Thanks for looking!
  3. So the boardie is only willing to send payment if he can turn around and flip it? And he is counting on you to hold it for him while he tries to sell it? He will probably have you drop ship it too. Sadly it's not the first time we've seen this.
  4. Jackpot comics 3 - $750$700 $650 Sold! Really nice looking copy with with light overall wear; incredible image area; tiny chip by the Skull's head on right edge front cover & 1" interior FC edge piece of tape by this chip on inside; bindery chip/tiny tears top and bottom of spine o/w super clean & tight with great eye appeal. I'd put this in the 6ish range.
  5. The Mass is the Massachusetts Ped. I can't remember if they get recognized by CGC or not, but I don't think they do. I'm pretty sure Chris (comix4fun) had a big chunk of Batmans and Detectives. I have had many Bronze Mass copies and they are really nice. All the Mass Peds have full gloss, deep color and most have snow white pages (unless whomever has owned them since discovery didn't store them properly). Not all are high grade, but most of them are. In some cases there were more than one copy of a particular issue. The books were gorgeous and new looking when in hand. Really amazing books. I, along with a friend, bought all the Mass Ped Bronze Batmans and Detectives (along with a few other short run titles) over 25 years ago when the collection was first discovered. Thanks for the info.
  6. Just a question, what's the "Mass" pedigree/copy? These are raw and curious if there is some distinctive feature that exists on them to designate this classification. Also if there is and if these were submitted to CGC would they denote as such based on just the submitted book? http://boards.collectors-society.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=9774957&nt=3&fpart=1
  7. What combo do you use for SA books? Right now I'm using the Silver/Gold Mylite4's with fullbacks. They seem tight but it feels like a solid setup. I use mylite 2's with the fullbacks as opposed to 4s for the most part, but the silver/gold is typically how I go too although depending on the book I might use a standard size for a better fit on SA, just like I'll use a supergold on certain GA books. One thing I learned over the years is that one size most certainly does not fit all when dealing with books of all shapes and sizes, and spine rolls
  8. I am back to buying back the IMSM's again. I decided to keep 1,000 on hand at all times. If my financials allow it, I might get back to that 5,000 raw level. Thanks for the reference! CAL who really doesn't need too much publicity due to superior marketing skills... IMSM? What's the matter can't afford gold?

  10. Its the Hotel California for the collectibles set! Indeed it is! But I'm off to reception to get another room - there's a funny buzzing noise in this one I thought you were quitting this awful, awful place? I made a mistake when the chemicals were low and have apologised for it. So I won't be quitting this awful, awful place, but I will be quitting interaction with awful, awful people. So unless you can say anything charitable Harvey..... They have meds to regulate that, but I suspect most would like you to stay off them, more fun that way. Welcome back!
  11. Blocked. No kidding... who needs to deal with m_orons like this. A creaky case Unfortunately becoming the norm rather than the exception. You'd be shocked how many have told me the CGC case needs to be perfect, no scratch, scuff, Newton rings etc. I've had requests to angle the book in various ways in the light to see defects. I nicely tell then to GFTS and that they should go elsewhere. Talk about OCD nation.
  12. I put the fullback in halfway first then slide the book in half way so there is a little board extended beyond the bottom of the book then push the remaining board and book in till snug. Never had an issue doing this. Critical that you use the right size mylites though.
  13. Are you referring to the new case or the new new case? (With or without the inner well)
