When I am buying, the whole book better be there to avoid an incomplete grade.

When I am selling, at least one staple must be present along with some paper.

Sat this one out. I was thinking about going in at the end - until I saw Brian put his back up bid in 7 minutes out. Didn't like the idea of finding out where that one went.

You could tell I raised my max bid 7 minutes out? I actually put it in with 5 days to go, then raised it another $5 near the end, but the bidding never even got to my original max bid... The underbidder probably thought I'd stopped at $250 like last time. I fooled 'em tho... (thumbs u It's such a game...I love it...

Oh, and while were on this subject, it's actually the Fab Five...you gotta count Lovelorn 54 too. It's an awesome cover, and deserves to be counted in the group..."Yer gonna live here, in a tenement."

I don't know...I want to add a few to it and take a few off it, but I don't know how. I need to talk to Harvey Swick about that one of these days...

I think we've gotten off topic...we were TALKING about Lovelorn #53 and what an amazing win I got on ebay...

Are those readable, or are they like the Jungles and Jumbos?

I buy what I like...

I can't afford much more Friction House, and besides, the stories are too wordy in the Jungle books...can't remember how the others were...Fox books were more readable...

I just won the book on feebay...$257.32...that's a long ways from $787+ last time...I told you guys I'd get it...

That's a $530 savings...do I know how to shop or what? Hopefully there will be no hidden defects that make me regret my buy...

Had to send the seller a note about their packaging...only one piece of cardboard in a flimsy mailer...obviously not comic people.

I didn't bid on the brittle one...Puh-lease...give me some respect! I'm a very well-respected person, ya know...

Well, the answer is simple...teenagers just looked older back then.

This is really interesting stuff, and it makes me wonder who else might have owned a lot of the books in my collection...besides the obvious Pedigree copies...oh well...time to go to work and get back to reality...
