This was the first piece I've ever commissioned from a few months ago. It's from Stephen Mooney, author and artist of IDW's Half Past Danger miniseries. I had him do one of the main characters, Agent Elizabeth Moss as femme fatale/film noir as possible. I was very pleased with the results.

I've only got one commission thus far posted way back in this thread. Hoping to get on the Paolo Rivera list for NYCC! This may be a very stupid question, but could someone explain the difference between a sketch and a commission (possibly with pictures?) I understand sketches are generally cheaper if not free with way less time dedicated to them. However, when I google convention sketches what turns up seems to be commissions.
If this isn't the proper thread for this, please remove. Thanks!
