I've started a few of these threads and people seem to like them. I figured I'd do another one for Steve Rude while I patiently wait to find a piece of his for myself to own. Please feel free to share commissions, interiors, covers, prelims, paintings etc. from your own collection so that we can all enjoy the dude's art!

Good morning, I'm trying a bit of a different approach here. I'm currently looking for an interior page by Marc Silvestri from the 1987 X-Men Vs. Avengers miniseries. Preferably, featuring the X-Men (in costume would be a bonus) but I'm willing to look at whatever you have. I believe I’ve seen all of what’s currently available through all the public art sites. Hey everybody, I’m looking for Steve Rude interior art. My focus is Marvel (mainly Captain America: What Price Glory? And Thor: Godstorm) and DC (mainly Incredible Hulk vs. Superman, World’s Finest, Legends of the DC Universe #14, Man of Steel #2). I’d prefer the pages have our main hero in costume. Trying something different here and targeting some X-Men: Classic pages. I’m open to looking at anything that people are selling. I’m most interested in Cockrum insert pages, Bolton’s pages from #23 (with Nightcrawler in full high adventure mode) and the like, but really I’ll take a look at whatever you got! I’m usually on time, but rarely is there a character that I’m gaga about. At least from the new stuff he’s been dropping. I’m in the market for a full body color piece like the ones that pop up from time to time. Just waiting on the right character!!

Nico - First, let me say kudos on such an excellent product. The newest tweaks are a definite improvement to the overall performance. I have to admit, I’m addicted. I’m on it daily and love getting the email summaries of what’s new to market of my favorites artists every day. I do have a question in regards to that. Every once in awhile in the past i’d find I wouldn’t get an email, I usually chalked it up to a glitch (I have so many favorites saved I find it almost impossible that SOMETHING didn’t show up that day, but you never know) and without question the next time day the emails would return. I’ve noticed over the last 3 or so days that I haven’t been receiving the daily emails at all. Could this possibly be a setting I turned off or is this part of the new deployment? Any help would greatly be appreciated!

Been a fan of Heshka for years and somehow just found this thread! What a treat to see all the recreations he’s done for you guys over the years. While I am on a commission waiting list and contemplating what I might get, I was wondering if any of you could post some of your non super hero commissions from him?

Hey everybody - putting out a line to see if anyone has any Chris Samnee Superman or Captain America head shot/bust. I'm not (at this time) looking for any of his full character commissions but more so the smaller head shot "warm up sketches" that he does. Examples included in thread. Many thanks. That was all I needed. I never did that because I thought that's what the system did by default but now I see the default would technically be 'Batman Beyond'

I have possibly a stupid question. How would I search for Batman Beyond and get reasonable amount of hits? Searching that those two words together gives me almost 7,000 results which is just the same as searching for Batman. If I search just the term Beyond, I get zero results back. Searching Terry McGinnis gives me a handful of hits with Batman Beyond also being used in the title of results, so I know they are out there. Anybody out there have any suggestions???

Straying slightly from the main topic, I was wondering if anyone has ever seen OA for this BT gem out in the wild?

If an artist has a rep there’s a very good chance (usually) that you’ll receive the art in a fairly quick turnaround time. If they don’t it could definitely be a gamble. I’ve waited for a year or so on pieces from 2 different artists, both of which I lightly followed up with 3 or 4 times over those 12 months and they were always professional and happy to touch base. I’ve found artist without reps can often suffer from not being good with time management. My advice would be to always poke around a bit and find out if artists you’re considering commissioning are repeat offenders and known for long delays, it will help inform your decision.

How much do commissions usually run these days? Are they just those head sketches you always see around or more in line with the full body pieces posted here?
