  1. That is certainly music to my ears! Any idea when these might be unveiled to the general public?
  2. There is (this is from another forum I belong to): Darwyn Cooke - They are reissuing the Parker Martini Edition and coming out with a second volume: Martini Edition: Last CallThe EC Covers AE will be more than 50 % covers that have not been in AE format before. No percentage was actually discussed.Cockrum X-Men Artifact Edition Next Year.Frankenstein next year. Will have a lot of other material and sketches.John Byrne Artifact Edition in October looks great. Also discussed was the Roy G. Krenkel Centennial Book out in October. Not technically an AE but all of the art was shot from the originals.Marvel Art of the Brothers Hildebrandt - next year.Complete Mr. A --2 volumes, maybe three. Looks like the Ditko family will be releasing much of his work in the coming years.
  3. I figured I'd ask here, rather than start a new topic. Cooke's Before Watchmen is beautiful and some of his best work. A few pieces of OA exist out in the wild, but does anyone know why more pages don't circulate?
  4. To me, Samnee's Rocketeer work is second only to the master himself, Dave Stevens. I have never seen OA pages circulate from this run. Does anyone know why?
  5. Has anyone heard ANYTHING about this?
  6. We got a brief example earlier in the thread but does anyone have any Darywn Rocketeer pieces they'd like to show off? I know he did a handful of commissions but also that 8(ish?) page story in Rocketeer Adventures #2 but there is so very little of it on CAF....
  7. Thanks for sharing! That’s a great page but not exactly what I’m looking for.
  8. I will also look at anything where J. Bone is involved where Cooke is the primary artist (I've already seen what Albert Moy currently has available). Thanks!
  9. I kept tabs on it while it was in auction but stopped because I figured it was going to go for an insane amount of money and it ended up being pretty damn cheap (as far as Cooke goes). I'm still kicking myself!
  10. Putting some feelers out there to see what’s available. I’m looking for any of the following: Darwyn Cooke – Anything (sketches, prelims, pages, commissions). Looking for this in particular: Mignola – Anything (sketches, pages etc.). Hellboy art does not need to feature or include Hellboy. Looking for this in particular: Cliff Chiang – Commissions preferably of Wonder Woman. Will look at pages if you have them, not interested in Paper Girls. Please feel free to respond to the thread or PM. Thank you!!!
  11. The name says it all! Similar to the Mignola thread I started let's see what wonderful Darwyn Cooke art our board members have collected. Commissions, pages, prelims, sketches etc. anything you have that the man was involved with we want to see it!!!!
  12. Would someone be able to weigh in on CL's Wait List button? Does it obligate you to purchase when the art is available or do you have the option to turn down?
  13. What exactly does being on their Waitlist entail? Does it obligate you to purchase when the art is available?
  14. What exactly is happening when something from the OA Exchange is listed as “sale pending”? There’s something I have my eyes on that’s been listed that way for months.
  15. I refused to, because it drives me crazy that they put tickets on sale before they announce the artist alley lineup knowing that it will sell out. They had about 6 or 7 artists listed when tickets were released, I think that's incredibly shady. Imagine the music industry doing that for a festival? Here's are our tickets for Coachella, a few months after you purchase your tickets we will provide you with a list of bands.
  16. I see that Ben Stenbeck is repped through Splash Page art, but weirdly I don't see anything from his (relatively) recent Koshchei The Deathless miniseries available. 4 pieces are on CAF though. Does anybody have any insight on the OA from this series and where it might be available? Thanks!
  17. You own this!?!? CONGRATS!!! I've looked at it so much online in the last few weeks. It's masterful on just about every level.
  18. Ah. Good to know. I'm sure I could never afford it, but that's the stuff that's way more in my wheel house and was wonderful to see in person.
  19. Certainly not from my collection, but has anyone seen the OA for this turn up anywhere?
