CGC announces NEW Pedigree Labels and NEW Pedigrees
Supa-Bad-Mofo replied to sagii's topic in Golden Age Comic Books
Come on...we all love to give our cash to CGC! To be fair...I was going to start sending old slabs in for re-holder anyway...this just serves as a little more motivation and a good place to start. -
CGC announces NEW Pedigree Labels and NEW Pedigrees

I want this! Love the black and white! I have quite a few peds that could use a new slab. Unfortunately, I just sent two Twin Cities books for grading in June and they came back Blue Lables...missed the boat by a month. I think I'll send a box of old slab Blue Label peds in soon! Might wait for the TATs to drop first though... On another note, I hope my OCD can handle different lables in my Fury run. It does ok with various slab generations...I hope colors don't trigger it. -
PGM Astonishing Tales 25
Supa-Bad-Mofo replied to Lurker89's topic in Hey buddy, can you spare a grade?
There is a lot going on with the spine on this book. Heavy color breaking creases spine, color breaking creases right edge. Back cover looks nice. I'm at a 6.0. -
Thanks! The hunt I'll remember for sure! Still can't believe I found one in the wild!

Little haul... Twin Cities bought raw from Heritage years ago and happy I submitted them (That 20 is niicceee.). Also upgraded my 133 .30 cent variant and added an impossible to find 142 .35 cent variant. Avengers was purchased from a guy in Britain (before the Taskmaster boom really took off) and I found the HFH 1 on ebay...got it for a song. Very happy with the grades.

You may have already viewed this in the PGM thread, but I have to post it here... This book was rough, rough, rough when I bought it. Bought it raw, took a chance and I paid waayyy too much, but this is the only one I've ever seen in 20 years of collecting (I've heard of a few, but never actually laid eyes on one.). I've been looking the entire time!! Consistently listed as one of the top ten rarest 35 Cent Variants with an estimate of 15-30 still in existence!(I believe there are fewer.) This book has been pressed and cleaned. 3rd highest grade behind one 8.5 (Highest graded) and one 8.0. Only 6 on the census. I am very, very happy to have this book in my collection! Check it out!
