$1725 according to Brian. Another strong finish for another eBay copy tonight. It's official: this book could potentially bypass(gulp) GCE12 as romance book #1 ?!?! On the topic of MRA 50, just checked GPA and a 3.5 copy sold for $315 in Oct 2012. So if that eBay copy was truly VF, $1800 to $2000 is about right, based on the one data point. So I don't think this is evidence of the book "taking off", just surprising for those who might not have been aware that people are standing in line for that book. Fair enough that that could be the case. Great market analysis.

Picked this up off eBay last night: Hunted #13 (#1, formally My Love Memories!!). Decent copy i can live with, only a two issue run,, and i don't have 2 yet(sometimes the shortest runs are the hardest to complete!). Love the bondage cover in typical Fox Fashion. Quite right, Duke. That was my one and only. No free lunch, eh? But I do get some consolation from my 49. Not as nice condition, but not too shabby either. The Big 4 Weird ACG books are treasured by romance collectors, and as treasure, they must be hunted. Challenge accepted! Nice!! You're not always on the Boards here, but when you do 'show up' you always razzle and dazzle!

Ok, fair enough. But it seems this book has exploded. As a "casual" romance collector, I used to think only certain Baker covers, or the Negro Romance issues, (and another personal favorite "Forbidden Love" which seems to have 'dipped') used to be the only romance issues to command 1k or more mint-poor.

And while I'm on the subject, is there a DR. Love copy? Paging Dr.Love......
