  1. I had someone on ebay msg me and ask if it was a toy or a comic book. Think it was when I was selling a few of the Han Solo.
  2. did you order graded also or just raw? Raw Also, my PayPal address info shows "No address", but I looked and several of my PayPal transactions show that. Not sure why, but I don't think its a reason to worry. I'm guessing they have the addresses of those who ordered as long as its on your PayPal profile.
  3. Well, was supposed to have a few SS copies of the Fett submitted, but things fell through
  4. There were others, but it seems Spread brought them back to the limelight. I hadn't personally seen any before that one, but I've since been shown that quite a few existed before that.
  5. The Spread is my favorite, but I still think the colored Star Wars ones all look great so far
  6. I like it! +1 Thanks for sharing the link!
  7. Lucked out and found one guy who had some and randomly sent an e-mail. Won another on ebay earlier today.
  8. I kinda agree. I don't like the look of it...but gotta keep the sets complete, so I had to snatch a few . Looking to pickup a couple more hopefully.
  9. Lets hear some baseless speculation on how many #1 Black and White Luke covers there are
  10. I ordered very early, and haven't gotten shipping notification, but I'm not worried just yet.
  11. (thumbs u I *think* that's the same thing as e-check, though I'm not sure. Whatever the issue they are having is, hopefully they get it figured out. Good luck to ya!
  12. I meant which funding source you used through paypal. Someone mentioned earlier that it may have been an issue with paying via e-check.
  13. Yea, that's . How did you pay out of curiosity? (paypal balance, paypal credit, e-check, ect...) Make sure you let us know when you get a response
  14. If he sold them to fans on his site first and sold out, he shouldnt have copies to sell at a con later on. Period. Technical problem, or not, youre holding on to copies - fulfill your orders to your fans and ship those first before making a premium. End of story Im having the same problem. I ordered mine before the cut off time of 3:30. My time stamp says 12:22 PST, so I am responding that I SHOULD get one also. Did you get a cancellation e-mail as well?
  15. Nope. not the same one. edit: Don't remember what the name was, but I remember it was a star wars reference, and that it was a fairly new account (low feedback).
  16. Excellent! Glad you got that resolved. So they somehow "found" your copies? This is all weird. My guess is he isn't actually "out"... He's already demonstrated that he's interested in getting FMV for the book, so I'm guessing he's holding onto a personal stash to see if the price gets anymore silly. Maybe once he showed that he placed his order before they were listed as "sold out" they decided to fill the order. Just speculating obviously
  17. Normally I'm not into telling people what they should collect (what I collect is better than what you collect), but for those prices, someone could pick up 3 slabbed CGC 9.6 Star Wars 42s with the first pamphlet appearance of Boba Fett. Or they could buy 10 or so 1st appearance of Boba Fett in the Marvel Illustrated Version of The Empire Strikes Back. I know if I had a choice between the 2, I would buy the 35 year old key instead of the new variant where Boba Fett is only on the cover. Exactly. This book is in for some major regression. You could buy any of the various Star Wars 1 variants featuring Fett on the cover, with similar or lower print runs, for less than the cost of this book right now. You guys are forgetting the completionist factor for those that are collecting the action figure variants. That has a lot to do with it. I think so too. I'm not saying that the price won't come down some, but I don't think we'll see it crash and burn. People seem to be digging these covers.
  18. I'm not so sure. You had a 'computer error', cancelled orders, but still had books to sell at C2E2 for $60? More drama to come, is my guess. I don't think any orders have been canceled though. I thought only the guy who posted here had said anything about his order being canceled, and that was cleared up. You're saying he would be the only guy affected by the 'computer error', and contacted by JTC. That would be surprising. Ah, I understand. Hadn't thought about that. I guess we'll see. I'm staying positive, . Maybe that's just my hopefulness getting the better of me though.

  20. If I'm not mistaken, only the one guy was told anything about an order cancellation, and has since gotten in cleared up.
  21. Excellent! Glad you got that resolved.
