  1. Strong result for J. Scott Campbell GEN 13 #5 Double Page Splash - $35,659.20
  2. I don't think he has responded. There are definitely some complaints.
  3. So, one of the winners of Todd McFarlane's Spawnuary cover contest used an AI-generated image. Winners links
  4. I agree. There's only one issue # 1, with a set amount of pages.
  5. Does this mean Sandman art will go further out in the stratosphere? Or is this the Gaiman tax on this specific auction?
  6. Holy smokes!! I was not expecting those types of strong results.
  7. There were solid/weak mixed results with the items I was tracking. I was the underbidder on the Michael Turner Witchblade piece. It's a beautiful image, but a tad on the smaller size (6" X 8"), which ultimately stopped me from bidding any higher. Congrats to the winner!!! I hope the buyer did their due diligence and realized the art is from 2002, not 1997, as stated in the description. Either way, it's a lovely piece.
  8. Im curious, Did you pay for the piece?
  9. I had my "quibbles" with him as well in the past. Definitely off putting, but not enough where I would never buy from him. I've also had my disagreements with the San Mateo brothers, but I've never shut that door either. Like Cain and Able, one brother is better than the other one.
  10. I like these early Odies when he had the black ears. They were changed because having black ears made him look a little bit too similar to Snoopy.
  11. The Violator - Split piece is insanely good. Outstanding work! Can't wait to see what's next.
  12. I personally placed more tracking bids than usual this time in the CLink auction, but it's also a precursor to the next Heritage auction. Gawd! there's so much material in the HA auction.
  13. The Quesada market has been pretty strong lately.
  14. Yes. If the publication itself, is hard to find I will also pay a pretty good amount for it as well.
  15. You are certainly right sir. It's already over $10K. My assessment was based on a previous CL auction. But that was back in 2020. Sandman material has skyrocketed since then.
  16. Just noticed the Slave Princess Leia illustration did even better at $14,250 than the SuperGirl. Strong prices for non-published pieces.
  17. Congrats to the buyer. He/She got it at a good price.
  18. The Death page underperformed at $82K in comparison with previous results. Did the signature affect its value at the end?
