  1. Pos:

    Will Smith as Dead Shot

Enchantress creepiness in the beginning of the movie

Batman and Setting up for JLA with Cameos

    Cons:

Jared Leto as Joker. Imagine Tony Montana with green hair. Heath Ledger (RIP) owns the role.

    The Whole Movie

    Overall: :P

  2.

I kind of expect it'll clear 15-20k somehow even though none of his art has ever come close at auction.

You know, i've been ragging on greg about his pricing but looking at some modern (last 4 or 5 years) era art, I see reps have (at least) doubled prices on many less popular artists new work over the last 6 months or year. I don't want to name names but Artists who have work sitting at 2500 a cover have newer no more desirable work listed at 4-5k now. If the work isn't selling at 2500 what makes people think 5k will be the trick? art that didn't sell at 5k are now listing 10k.

If this trend continues this hobby has officially jumped the shark, imo.

The piece stalled at $8k. I don't think it Will clear $15K. Could become the auction bargain.

  3. That's nice. Will it reach $30k?

Will it even reach 6-8? Judging by how many years the other covers sat at these prices (until yesterday), it's unlikely. It'll be interesting to see nevertheless.

It's pass $8k. How far will it go for considering is one of the better looking Capullo Spawn out there ? Plus... Not too many come out to the open market.

  4. Capullo has been moving pieces though - the available list is down to 32 which means about 10 have sold - and not all his cheapest pages either.

Are those pages on his site marked as sold? That would be a good move so he doesn't keep getting bugged by fans over the availability.

    Sold Pieces are taken down.

  5. Started watching Raiders of the Lost Art on Netflix; 6 documentaries related to art that was assumed to be lost or stolen and found later. The first episode - Hitler's Art Dealer - tells the story of the Gurlitt Case of 2010 where German police found over 1200 works of art in a small Munich apartment. Other episodes include the Monuments Men story, Mona Lisa theft, Faberge Eggs, Vermeer's and Van Gogh's. I'm only 1 1/2 episodes in, but well done so far.

Finished those last week. Quite good. (thumbs u

  6. Another example of Biz mutated style.

Simon painted the original Death Dealer in 1995 , then he was commissioned to rework the painting in 2007.

I was the former owner of this piece..the later version. There were some elements that attracted me to it, but there is something missing that the original version captured. This will sound silly because I cant explain it, but I always felt that the later version lacked honesty. (shrug)

I'm not a huge Finch fan but that cover is really good as well.

I actually have an opportunity to get either or both, but even though Finch is the teacher and Fabok is his protege, he is really making a name for himself. Is it worth the investment? Both are appealing images, so that eliminates that question.

I would chose Finch, but Maybe this link will help.
