  1. I see it the same. The signature won't affect its value. It is not like A+ pages from this issue are growing on trees.
  2. There have been three pages from Sandman # 8 (Death First appearance) that have hit the open market since last year (2022). All three have feature Death. One is currently in auction from the same issue, but it does not feature the character. Page 21 Sold on Apr 8, 2022 for $90K on HA Page 14 Sold on Nov 18, 2022 for $102K on HA Page 7 Sold on Jun 7, 2023 for $100.5K on Clink IMHO, this is a far better page. Selling over 100K is not farfetched.
  3. Bob Hall (1989) Published in Nightmare on Elm Street Magazine.
  4. I remember reading this book the first time, and the true incarnation/representation of Death didn't hit me until this page. The sadness and natural aspect of it. "Is that all I get". "I'm afraid so". So simple and powerful. I just reread it again, and it still holds.
  5. Mike Zeck's Secret War material keeps showing up more, and more. I wonder if the Covers from the series will show up at auction at some point.
  6. The premium pages featuring Death from this book seem to be going for about $100K. I got a feeling this one might go a tad higher. One of the best pages in the book IMHO
  7. It is still original pencils by Bagley, and I think It might have gone cheaper if it was pencils only, but it would have been much higher with original inks. So...a bargain It's a nice-looking piece, nevertheless.
  8. Bannings commissioned unpublished inks over Bagley's original published pencils is an apt description for USM35. Since it is well documented, I would be OK having it in my collection at the correct price. It was also used as a video game cover.
  9. How so? Is still original published pencils with unpublished inks.
  10. As a reference for USM35. Here are Bagley's pre-inked pencils only, and later inked by Matt "Batt" Banning. It was inked over the original pencils in 2008/2009 after publication in 2005. Batt added additional art on the Moon.
  11. This one was a bargain. I wish I had paid more attention.
  12. Im not sure if Kieth Sandman underperformed or if prices are leveling off.
  13. Im 100% with you. Monoprints and color guides should not be considered the same as traditional original art, which is why they sell for far less. But Out of curiosity...how do you define an original digital photograph print? Is it original? Is it a print? Or an original print? If prints that were produced by the artist of his/her digital original comic art are considered reproduction pieces and not original, why aren’t prints from digital photographs considered reproductions as well? But yet, they are considered original, with a pretty hefty price tag, I may add, when they come from the photographer itself.
