    L4 Comics at island 1617 per Calgary Exhibitor Directory. Who is GA Goodies at 1616 (Bernjak?) and will they have vintage comics or selling gold certificates? Artist Alley and tattoos at detached Big 4 Bldg. per Calgary Floor Plans.

    Voldemort pro grading used to set up at Fan Expo Vancouver for at least 2 years in a row. Just got an email from Voldy stating they are witnessing sigs at Calgary Expo and can then take your comics from Calgary back to the USA for pro slabbing. Voldy is charging $10 US to witness media guest sigs on autographed photos as an Expo Special; not sure about cost to witness comic creators sign.

    Think last time Wm Shatner or Jonathan Frakes was at Fan Expo Vancouver, they had a 3 wall vertical plastic shield around him to either reduce Covid or block free long distance pics of media guests without paying $$. Looks like one could walk up to Shatner and give him the Vulcan salute.

    Was interesting that Passaic's terms for nm comics was for customer to add 50% to their listed g to vg average grade runs of in stock comics. e.g. FF #1 vg $22 or pray for the upgrade to FF 1 nm $33 if in stock and mail Passaic a LONG list of alternates. Boo.

    U should do OK with GA and SA. Dealers have remarked that instead of 1 booth at Fan Expo Vancouver (fev), one can get 3-4 x 8' dealer's tables at PNE show. U can also check out the Vancouver comic/toy market vibe and 'competition' at http://www.westcoastcomiccon.ca Sunday August 13, 2023, if your family is in town as summer/PNE tourists.

    Much better guest list than Fan Expo Vancouver (fev). Have not seen inker Carl Potts in about 30 years. Lots of fan faves like Charlie Cox (DD), that Kingpin actor, Sam Raimi (Evil Dead, The Grudge 1, 2, Spider-man director), Christina Ricci (Wednesday, Yellowjackets tv).

    Yes but keep in mind there is a lot of competition for late bronze age, copper and modern comics. Main problem is the weather along the (closed due to snow?) Coquihalla Hwy b4 Halloween 2023 or around April 2, 2024. Hope Clobberin' Time does great $$ at Calgary Expo April 2023.

    Chateau du greggy has some long boxes u may sleep on, buddy. Nice mix of fresh dealers so there were stacks of comics to dig thru Saturday morning as only about half the vendors/artist alley set up Friday evening.
